Ambience is informal and cozy. So many choices of food and bakery. . Helpful in answering about ingredients . There is a comfortable starting area as well with 3 to 4 tables.

Despina's baklava is incredible in all the ways you'd hope. Flaky pastry, nut filling, and oozing with honey syrup. Distinct flavors. So good. My family kept going back for seconds immediately! The service was kind and connected, and the shop feels like a modern European cafe in Lakewood. I'll be back to try her other offerings for sure.

I just tried the spanakopita. Super fresh, super crispy. Super delicious! I can't wait to go to the bakery and try more food for myself!

Despina's Bakery is a Cleveland area gem! Incredible home made, authentic Greek foods, desserts, pastries, etc. I believe they do catering too. Nice, cozy little in house dining/snacking area too. Don't miss this place!

A friend referred me to this locally owned bakery and this heavenly bakery did not disappoint. Once you enter in the aromatic captivates your senses YUMMY! The owners daughter was very polite, attentive and very knowledgeable about their traditional delicacy. I got the pleasure of meeting the owner herself and that was a treat BLESSED. Will be heading back here for sure.
