BISCUITS N GRAVY - Gravy N Biscuits, either way you won't be disappointed. Best in the area by far. Blueberry Pancakes are fluffy and delicious as well.

Friendly. Good food (excellent cornbread). Good, quiet place to unwind from a morning at Cedar Point and recharge before hitting the park again!

My husband and I most certainly enjoyed our dinner. The mac and cheese bowl with brisket...DELICIOUS! The ribs were fantastic!!

We stopped in Derrick Jr. today after going to another business inside the Marketplace at the Cooke, and I was very impressed!!! The restaurant is essentially a satelite location of the very popular Derrick's Diner, so I figured I'd give it a try since I love barbeque. I split the 4 ribs and a slice of cornbread with my Mom, and we both enjoyed it. The ribs were smoked very well, and had great flavor. The cornbread was pretty much just your average cornbread, but it was good. They had pineapple Faygo in a bottle, so I was excited about that. Overall, it's a great place for lunch if you live or work downtown, or are just passing through and want quick counter service rather than a sit-down meal.

This place is permanently closed. I wish we would have know it was closed before going out of our way.

Food was good and staff was chill wasn't sure if someone was training and didn't know the correct price or if it was crazy overpriced.The inside is small and they share a dining area with the cookie place next door. I ordered a sampler platter which is 4 different meats 3 sides and 3 pieces of cornbread. I had asked the staff if it was enough for 2 people and he confirmed but I only received 1 small box with assorted bbq and my 3 sides in tiny sauce cups which would've been fine if that was clarified but they charged me 50$ and portion size was just ridiculously small.
