Excellent! This was my first time dining here! I went with friends, who ordered the clam bake. A+ They have a senior citizen area on the menu for $9.99 which was excellent. There is a large selection of meals which includes the desert! My meal (broiled scrod) was tasty -including a vegetable, potato and salad bar! To my surprise, there was live entertainment. A talented older man playing the keyboard! He brightened the evening! Our server was friendly and polite. I can't rave enough about this wonderful mom/pop restaurant. I couldn't believe there was a salad bar with fresh, large assortment of items! I highly recommend this restaurant! Get there early, the place was packed!

Gyro platter was disappointing,pieces, not slices, of gyro meat with one measly slice of tomato with bland rice and overly salty tzatziki sauce. My wife's deli style roast beef dinner was dry. When we told our waitress the pink lemonade lacked flavor and tasted watered down her reaction was awkward silence, but at our request she did bring us iced tea instead. Salad bar was good but the clam chowder was way too thick and lacked clams and was full of potatoes.Fair service with a senior clientele and a live keyboardist playing schmaltzy tunes during dinner.No reason for us to return.

I had the buffet which I really enjoyed. I was excited to see halushka as I really like it but have never seen it in a restaurant. My daughter opted for the lamb shank and said it was very good.

I don't understand the positive reviews, I had a terrible meal and service there. Ordered the stuffed cabbage with mashed potatoes, corn, soup and salad bar and rolls. The waitress seemed like she didn't want to wait on us, never checked on us, never brought the rolls even after we asked she still never brought them and never filled up coffee and drinks. She mostly paid attention to a couple older gentlemen who seemed like her regulars. The salad tasted like it wasn't washed, can taste the dirt and the soup was very bland. Can't speak on the rolls because we never got them. My stuffed cabbage was terrible. The cabbage wasn't cooked all the way, the meat inside was super mushy. They put a ton of rice in it and barely any meat which made it so mushy. It was topped with tomato paste, same with the mashed potatoes. The corn was very obviously old and stale, like it tasted days old, just not edible at all! When the waitress finally came around she snapped "don't you like the food?!" Super rude and odd! Very inexpensive and I know why. Will never go back

Demetrio's Family Restaurant is an amazing place to go for lunch and or dinner. Food is very good especially for the price. One of the best local diners I have been too. Wish hours were extended.

I keep returning and I tell everyone i know that the prices at this restaurant are still so reasonable, even in these days of inflated prices. The food is so good! And the options are plenty. I had a bloody mary on my last visit. Who knew? Anyway, i opted for the lunch buffet and wished by tummy was bigger so that i could eat more. The food was always hot and plenty of it, refilled often and oh so delicious. The server was happy and friendly and the restaurant was clean as was the restroom. I had no room for dessert but couldnt resist bringing some home to have later. I have no negative comments to help anyone make up their mind i can only be honest about having a great visit.

Have not been her in about 10 years. Had the famous gyro. Was still great. They have the best tzatziki sauce around I could just eat it with some pita bread. Will be back soon.

Food is good and prices are too. The service here is excellent from the cashier to the servers. Linda and Heather stand out as people that make you wanna keep coming back.

Big fan of this place. The staff is very kind and attentive. The restaurant is very well run and managed. The food is really good. I get the gyro platter every time and it never disappoints. Overall, I definitely recommend this place!

Nice old school diner. Breakfast buffet for 9.99 on weekends. Not high quality meats and eggs but what would you expect for a diner buffet. Good for the money. Nice service.
