The food is always the best in town. The prime rib and the Wedding soup are a must.Every server and bartender in the place are like your friends. It's almost like a Cheers

Had dinner here with my wife on a Friday. It's a comfortable place to go. She ordered an Eggplant Parmesan sandwich and sweet potato fries (which was a $1.50 up charge). I ordered a cup of decaf coffee and the large fish dinner with pirogies and coleslaw. My wife didn't care for her sandwich. I ordered the large fish dinner, and was charged for it, but it was smaller in size than my previous dinners here. The waiter was very pleasant, but he never brought my coffee.

I was at Davidson's last night for the very first time to celebrate the birthday of a very dear friend. The entire staff was PHENOMENAL! I brought a birthday cake for my friend, and they were kind enough to stash it in a fridge in their kitchen for us until we finished dinner. My chicken quesadilla was incredible! I love when veggies are added, and the sautéed onions and peppers really elevated the dish. And I often don't have any option whatsoever to order a vegetable side dish when I'm at a sports bar type of restaurant. But it was no problem here. I was able to get a side of steamed broccoli, and it was a very generous portion, too.All the other guests at our table seemed to enjoy their dinners, as well. I only took 3 pictures because I didn't want to be a pest, but everyone's food looked really good.Our waitress was fantastic, friendly, and very attentive. I drink a lot of water with my meals, and I never once had to ask for a refill. The waitress would just automatically bring me another glass whenever she saw mine was getting low. I jokingly called her "the psychic waitress" because she was reading my mind--bringing me my water before I even asked. And then she brought me a box for my leftovers--before I asked! She was wonderful. The only bummer was that my cousin had ordered fried mozzarella sticks, and 3 of them were empty! I think the cheese filling must have fallen out when they were cooking.It was a very minor detail compared to how wonderful everything else was. And it's certainly an easy problem to fix. And I almost didn't include it in my review, but then I thought, what's the point of writing a review if I'm not going to be honest about everything? I want people to know that I tell it like it is.Overall, I had a great time at this restaurant, and I highly recommend it. The staff was amazing and kind, and my food was absolutely delicious. I would definitely go back, and I will probably be getting that chicken quesadilla to go on my next visit to Ohio.

Greens are fantastic, the prime rib was good, and the salad was sad. But the dinner rolls... wonderful!

Read my original review, because nearly nothing has changed, and that's a good thing. It's been a lot of years since I first reviewed this place and I can gladly add the extra star because I still love and endorse this place.My server is a sweet young lady. That's a little different as I recall on the past that the servers were older women. No drop-off in service.Worth noting on this visit is the quality of the wedding soup. It's just so damn tasty.

I am originally from Cornersburgh and always come back from Calif for a week for my favorite greens dish with a large pepper on top When I first arrived I went straight to Davidson and order the large greens . It had no flavor I went back on my way out of Youngstown and mentioned to please add extra garlic Again it had NO favor and the peeper on top was so small and shriveled up. It looked like it was sitting from the day before and it was so dry and small.I am so disappointed also with the price going up to $15.99It's just we're greens and nothing else I also was told that they Tuesday specials for chicken and dumplings were now also $15.99I don't mind to pay if it is good It was terrible both times Please the customer service the second time was terrible and there were very few customers there Very unfriendly and unavailable Enclosed is a pic of my greens I will never go there again

So good we went twice in a week!!We experienced Davidson's for the first time ever. Food is authentic and delish!! The service and vibe was wonderful as well

We've only been to the bar side but it was just what we wanted it to be! A neighborhood hangout, great wings, plenty of TV's for football watching and ample service.

While the service was impeccable the food was less than desirable. I've actually been keeping a running tab of chicken wraps in the area. This chicken Ceasar wrap had absolutely no taste of Ceasar. It mainly tasted of burnt chicken. The fries were good but I feel like they should have been paired with vinegar. Our first time eating here and sorry to say will probably be our last.

Absolutely awful, never coming back. Such a shame--this place used to be great. Mains were inedible, one with a portion so small everyone laughed out loud when the server put it down. The garnish looked like compost. Everything was greasy, cold, and burnt. Appetizers were served without plates and when we asked we never got them. Mixed drink absolute rot gut alcohol not mixed, and served with overripe garnish. Service was appalling: no drinks for 30 minutes, no plates, no check ins. Menu itself was tattered, greasy, and full of crossed out items. Prices are also just...insane...for diner food. Shame on the owner of this place for letting it run into the ground. Do not go here.
