Daves Supermarket

This is the worst Dave's I have ever been in. Limited selection compared to the other locations, produce is not fresh, and prices are higher here than at the Dave's just down the street in Euclid.

Not so great. Fine for really basic things or if you can't venture out to other areas. But it was rather run down and smelled bad. No gluten-free speciality items here. The brussels sprouts I bought had little worms crawling in them. Fortunately, the meat and dairy that I bought there were fine.

I prefer to shop at the Dave's in Euclid a few miles away, but this store is close to my house, and good for basics, or a last minute run. The store is on the small side, and selection is somewhat limited. The produce is hit or miss at this location, usually not as fresh as the Dave's in Euclid. The hours are also inconvenient for me; they close at 9:00 on weekdays, as opposed to 11:30 at the Euclid store. The cashiers and staff are friendly, and the store is usually clean enough, but there's no reason to choose this Dave's over the Euclid store unless you don't feel like driving a few miles down the road, or you don't have a car -- as is probably true of a good number of the patrons here.

Great store. But sometimes they sell expired items. Their meat is pretty good. BEST ITALIAN BREAD IN THE AREA. However, the behavior of the check out clerks is beyond belief. They act like they are at a wild party. NO PROFESSIONAL DECORUM. One of them, a long-time checkout supervisor, was actually doing a mock strip-tease right in the checkout aisle. Shaking her bottom at the other checkout girls. Lots of very loud, continuous, talking and laughing, half ignoring the customers who are trying to check out. Attention is not fully on their duties. Very disgusting.

I'd give it zero stars if I could. Worst Dave's market, actually worst any market ever.I was just in there. Three people with no masks even though it says on the door that you need one. 6 to 7 people on the three lanes that were open. Only one checker was old enough to ring up alcohol so you had to wait until they called someone over for a ring up. Go to any other Daves market. Do you self a favor stay out of the store.

Everytime i walk into store they raise the prices, Items Items that were 2.29 go up to 2.59 then a week later 3.29 now 3.59, can get at walmart for 2.29. just example . They think because they have a client base that are mostly on fixed income and elderly that cant get around They can keep prices up. Daves on Richmond hts are lower with better selection of Meat. lakeshore Seems to feel people on food stamps or disability Do not want a good product. This store never runs decent sales. SAVE YOUR MONEY. Pay a uber go to Walmart. HOWEVER the Lady that runs the Seafood dept is the best i seen anywhere, always fresh despite other fact other Dave's run better sales, I wouldn't go anywhere else to purchase my Salmon(Fresh daily and does'nt use Sherwood distrib. very often which always seems to be extra thin cuts for some reason. Place to go for fresh Seafood. lol,not from california , Collinwood
