Darkroom Brewing

I had the pleasure of visiting Darkroom not long after they opened and already love the cozy, welcoming atmosphere! Their beers are great, the furniture is comfy, and there are lots of food options around if you want to do carry out from one of them and bring it to Darkroom to enjoy a beer with it. The staff is all super friendly, and made sure to invite us to return soon. Because of this Darkroom has become a weekly stop for my family, and for good reason! Highly recommend checking out Darkroom if you are looking for a break from the winery hopping, or just love a good craft beer!

Darkroom Brewing is defiantly the newest trendy hot spot nestled in the heart of Geneva's downtown! This local brewery features an assortment of beers, guest taps, wine and a small selection of spirits. Trendy murals, modern and reclaimed ambiance surround you with local art paying homage to Lake Erie, nautical themes, and glass windows to view the brew room! Pick from assortment of seating with high tops and tables or lounge around at the cozy couches and sectionals while live musicians plays that feel good music! All are welcome at Darkroom! Be sure to bring your own food or purchase local at one of the many surrounding eateries. We were lucky to come on the day they hosted a tasty food truck.The staff was fast, friendly, and knowledgeable about their product.The have the space to host larger private parties or just me meet a buddy for a good beer! This beautiful brewery is my favorite little spot in downtown Geneva. The decor is amazing, it's like a mossy, medieval cushy mermaid palace! They create fantastic craft beer, and have terrific wine and cider options too! There is always a great band, fun theme nights, and even wine tasting nights! The owners here are the sweetest, and are always roaming or behind the bar greeting you! Amanda is the hostess with the mostest, and she is such a supportive force for other local businesses, you'll see many fellow owners at her events! I brought my daughter here and she loved it- the vibe, the drinks and the couches especially! Do yourself a favor and drop in for a craft beer- or better yet, try one of their special cocktails! For St Patty's Day I had a Green Mimosa with a little lucky rainbow and two little marshmallow clouds as a garnish! It was delicious and super cute! It was one of those attention getting drinks "Oh wow what's THAT?" I've heard they have a killer Bloody Mary too! I always run into friends or meet great people here. This wonderful space gets my absolute MUST visit.

Amazing variety of beers. The atmosphere was welcoming. Would highly recommend this brewery to anyone who enjoys a good brew.

A great space to drink great beer made by great people. I had the opportunity to meet and chat with the owners. Gino is a beer mad scientist and Amanda could not be more welcoming. My flight included the Wheel of Death Blonde, Pigheaded Pale Ale, Lake Erie Mermaid IPA and a guest tap sour. I generally go for IPA's, and I don't usually go for blonde ales, but I would have been happy drinking any of the beers. I ended up going for a pint of the Pigheaded, which satisfied my bitter side at 57 IBU and didn't put me in the hurt locker at 4.7% ABV. Go to Darkroom. Take a break from the wineries and enjoy some amazing beer. (They do have wine and mixed drinks too. But it's a brewery...).
