One word.. FIRE! If Yelp let you use emojis there would be at least five of them in this review. I've only been here once, but the meal and service I had was top notch. It was recommended to me by a friend and I gotta give them props. Their recommendation did not disappoint. I often sit at the bar when I dine by myself and I'm glad that I did because Andy, my server, took excellent care of me. I started with an old fashioned cocktail (or two, hehe) and it was exactly what I needed to take the edge off after the two hour drive I had from Columbus. The atmosphere inside was cozy and inviting and I loved every bit of it. As for food, again insert fire emoji here. I munched on the tempura fried green beans ($12) and they were gone in a flash. As for my entree, I actually ended up taking it to go and devoured it in my hotel room once I got settled in. I believe I had a special because I don't see it on their menu anymore, but it was salmon over a delicious risotto with some veggies. It was a large portion and there were but a mere few bites left.A few other tidbits to know.. There's plenty of parking and a nice patio with string lights and even igloos during the winter months. Cuyahoga Falls is lucky to have such a gem. Keep being awesome.

Delicious! I had heard good things about this place and finally tried it on a busy Saturday night. Arrived around 6pm and were told the wait would be 1-1.5 hours (it's a really small place - only a bar and maybe 10 or so tables inside). We put our names down and went to grab a drink somewhere else on Front St while we waited. Received a text when our table was ready an hour later and headed down! They have a parking lot, which is really nice in this area. I'm glad we decided to wait because it was worth it! Our server was friendly and the food came out pretty quickly considering how busy they were. We ordered the tempura green bean and calamari appetizers and both were excellent. The green beans especially...it was a huge mound and we thought there was no way we would eat them all but before we knew it they were almost gone. I didn't care for the dipping sauce they came with, but the beans and tempura were flavorful enough on their own without a sauce. We ordered the winter salad and the salmon topped with crab for our entrees and both were great. The salad had a good variety within and the dressing was a perfect, tasty accompaniment. The risotto under the salmon was especially delicious too. And they include the 3.5% credit card fee in the prices listed on the menu already, which I really appreciate. Definitely will be back. Thank you, Darby's on Fifty-Nine!

We sat in an igloo. Service was a 5! Music is good food is great. Just takes perfection to get a five out of me. Son had the steak wrap with fresh cut fries. He enjoyed it lots of peppers he said. Wife had the mahi mahi special over risotto. Said it was very good. I personally had the ribeye. Cooked great I added blue cheese it was exceptional. They both had some cinnamon cheesecake that was said to be excellent.

My wife told me for years that this is a place she wants me to experience. She's been there numerous times with friends and raves about it every time we drive past it. Today, we finally went together and she was SO right! It's not a very big place, but what it doesn't have in square footage is made up in its charm and ambience. We went on a sunny, but cold winter day. The first thing I noticed were the clear, heated geodesic domes they had on their back patio for outdoor cold weather seating--so unique! We learned from our server that they seat about six, require a reservation, and stay there until about March. All had been reserved for that Friday evening. We got there for lunch at 11:00 AM, when they open, something my wife insisted on because they fill up for lunch--smart move by her!We got a nice booth in the corner of the room, and our prompt and cheery server was quick to brink our water and sodas. We ordered tempura fried green beans, three spicy pulled pork soft tacos, and two sliders (one salmon and one filet mignon)--all of which turned out to be more than plentiful.Everything came at the same time, which is when we realized that was a lot of food. We started with the tempura battered green beans--so tasty! We decided to share the filet mignon slider, which was tender and flavorful, then we shared a taco. We didn't want to overstuff ourselves and it turns out that was plenty of food for us. The spicy pork tacos were flavorful, but not spicy at all, so that caught us a bit off guard. Oh--we also had a half wedge salad with bacon and their blue cheese dressing. I normally don't like blue cheese dressing, but theirs was very much to my liking and surprise.By the time we finished eating around noon, the place had filled up with people. We both found that even as full as it was, we didn't find it noisy. I looked up at the ceiling and noticed what I thought were sound-absorbing acoustic panels. I wish more places would do that because it really made our dining experience so much more enjoyable. To have good conversation and an enjoyable meal means a lot to us. We will definitely be returning!

Dined on the patio here with my friend and her dog this afternoon and it was lovely! Have been here before and come back for the food but the service and ambiance were great as well. The sweet potato fries are WOW - they give you a huge portion and they are crisped to perfection and just absolutely drool worthy. My salad was delicious with good cheese and a great balsamic vinaigrette. I normally have to get the tempura fried green beans because they are just so unique but it was hot so I opted for a refreshing salad. Always a wonderful experience here and the patio is such a nice spot to be able to dine outside with pets. Highly recommend any time you're in the falls.

We had a reservation at 6 in the party room. We arrived and the room heater wasn't on and was thinking this was going to be a bust for my daughter birthday party. She had her heart on this restaurant. Within 5 minutes the manager came out and resolved the issue. The service and food was spot on. Excellent service and food. Will be returning for another fine dining experience.

We used to live in Stow and never knew this was here until we moved further south. It's a super small, intimate place. Obviously not a chain and something new. It is seat yourself when you go in and happy hour is 3-5. Our service with Maddie is was excellent and it happened to be "wine night" so bottles were discounted. We paid $5 less for our bottle of pinot grigio. We had the pub chip appetizer and they were DELICIOUS. My husband ordered the cuban and enjoyed it. His homemade sweet potato fries were so good. I ordered the filet mignon tacos and was sadly underwhelmed. The steak wasn't overly flavored and I'm not sure it was filet as it was fatty. They were just kind it plain and basic for $16. I would definitely go back.

First and last time here. Ordered a wedge salad and cutting into it, as the dressing started to slide off, I could see red on the lettuce called rusting. This is usually caused by improper storage or exposure. It is careless and unappealing. Charging over $14 for a salad and not even bothering to serve fresh lettuce when a head of lettuce cost approximately $2 right now, is representative of the amount of attention and care they show in their food and service.
