Danny's Ice Cream & Burgers

Delicious burgers, great fries, amazing ice cream, Danny's Ice Cream & Burger is the og spot, priced same as franchise fast food, but quality is 200% better.

I really liked Danny's and Danny himself as well. My fiancé and I were slightly worried after reading the reviews, but he was very kind and the food was delicious. The burgers hit the spot, no frills, exactly what you want from a burger, plenty of bang for your buck. Just as a heads up, they only accept cash, but there is a chase atm down the street. The actual shop is very retro and meticulously clean, very comfy bar seating and a beautiful courtyard where you can sit and enjoy your burgers and ice cream. We didn't try any ice cream but we will definitely be back for some soft serve. All in all, I would recommend this place, fast service, tasty quality burgers, beautiful seating. Danny seems to really care about his shop and it shows.

We just moved to Macedonia and we're looking for a good icecream spot and found Danny's. We had burgers and Ice-cream. The service was great, clean kitchen and just a fun place to hangout. They have nice picnic tables and a grassy area. The burger was fresh and really delicious! It definitely is a simple burger no frills. We will be back here for sure. Next time I want to try the flavored ice-cream and the French fries!

Nestled in along the side of Aurora Rd, this place is a throwback to an earlier time with made to order hotdogs, hamburgers, Philly cheesesteaks, fish sandwiches and ice cream. Great place to take my 93 year old dad who enjoyed every bit of his specially made ice cream. My dog was charred and delicious, coated in chili. The only negative reviews I've seen are focusing on politics. That to me is a separate issue. We can all disagree on those points but the food? We'd all agree it hits the spot.

I have had only good experiences with this place. The ice cream offerings are simple and good. I prefer the strawberry flavor swirl soft serve and add strawberries! They have a number of other flavors too. The surprise is how amazing the burgers are. Flavorful and cooked to order. The sauce on the burger was yummy! The fries reminded me of fair fries that you would put salt and vinegar on if that's your thing. I had a great conversation with the owner right as the season closed and he was so friendly with me and my mother on the cold day. I'll continue to visit for both food and ice cream!

If you are around Macadonia this is a great little place on route 82. In the back of the ice cream shop is a nice lawn area with tables that are social distancing compliant. There have a cute retro counter which can order burgers, ect.They make incredible fresh cut french fries which is awesome with vinegar. They have chicken sandwiches nuggets which is appealing to kids of all ages. The workers at Danny's are always very kind and helpful if you can't decide on your flavor or ice cream or which sandwich for your snack, lunch or dinner .The entire concept is so retro and very refreshing. I highly recommend if you appreciate the slower pace and the way the small businesses treat you as in years in the past. Thanks Danny for bringing back the concept of excellent customer service.

This is my favorite burger and shake place. If I dream of a cheeseburger it is from here. Pleasant and prompt service. Oh and fries and onion rings are great too.

I had the kielbasa sandwich and it was phenomenal! The onion rings were on point, too! Service was quick and Danny was very friendly. Prices are very fair. It's nice to see a local business survive in this economy.

I cannot believe we have been missing out on the BEST BURGER AND FRIES in the area!! We first tried Danny's about two months ago, and we've been back at least fIve times since!! The meat is always very fresh, and I love the way they crisp it up on the grill. They also serve FRESH CUT fries, which are consistently crispy and delicious. Their outside bar/ back patio area is SPOTLESS and inviting, and the sweet dog there is so cute to watch (but there are signs not to pet him, so admire from a distance).GO!!! I'm not sure what their Fall/ Winter hours are, so go SOON!!!

This little gem has been around since the 50s! (And it definitely has 50s vibes!) My favorite place to go in the summer! I wish it was open year round ! Everything is made to order... hand cut fries, fresh burgers, homemade chili , ribeye steak sandwich with mushrooms and caramelized onions. Also, great lunch/dinner options for the kids as well like chicken nuggets and hotdogs! For dessert they have soft serve and hard icecream! So many flavors - I love the strawberry shortcake sundae. All the portions are huge and you can't beat the price. Picnic tables are located to eat outside, or you can sit in the window and eat at the counter. ( you can even call ahead and place your order to-go ) And to top it off the place is spotless inside AND outside! If you haven't been here yet you need to check it out!!!! Great food! Great service !
