Dairy Grove

Terrible portions on dole whip. We got a kiddie bowl for 3.30 which I thought was a bit high but figured it must be a good size then. Instead we got a tiny bit in one of those condiment cups they put ketchup in! What a joke. SMH! Plus there's 4 ppl back there & we waited 3 mins for someone to come to the window. Never Again Dairy Grove. I'll go down the street to DAIRY QUEEN.

Stopped by the other night for the first time. The have soft serve, dole whip, hard pack.ice cream, special treats and so much more. All reasonably priced as well.

The staff is always so friendly and kind. Love the orange cream dole whip. Wish they had it all the time.

We used to call this place Karen's but now that it's under new ownership I guess we will have to find something new as well. This place never disappoints, not then, not now. I love the fact that they have added a few non ice cream items now. There is something here for everyone, soft serve, traditional dipped and let's not forget - DOLE WHIP'S. The only downside is getting in and out. If you go at a busy time you will be there for awhile. We always park at the bank next door and that solves that. I have recently heard they are expanding the parking lot and changing the flow of the drive through.

Shhhhhhh. **whispers** You don't have to go to Disney to get Dole Whip! Dairy Grove offers rotating flavors of Dole Whip, ice cream, and sherbet. They are a small, non-chain ice cream shop with a drive-thru and a walk-up window, a few chairs and tables out front, and a small play set out back. One of the Dole Whip flavors today was mango, so I got that, and my husband got a swirl cone of orange sherbet and vanilla soft serve. For both us it was $6. Much cheaper than Disney and I stayed in my air conditioned car! Very nice young ladies at the window too.

We visit Dairy Grove regularly, love the Dole Whip and the peanut butter custard is awesome.However I was very disappointed tonight when I got home (ordered to-go) and found a hair in my custard. I had to throw it in the garbage.I noticed when I was waiting that none the employees were wearing hair nets or hats. I would like to suggest that, for sanitary purposes, all employees wear hair nets or hats.

Amazingly good place for ice cream. Dairy Grove has the best frozen treats in North Ridgeville. It has a large selection. For a place this small it has a lot. They even have Dole Whip. Basically this is no frills. It has a few tables outside if there even are any that is. They do have a drive thru. It might be quite a line. The last time here it was backed up. Much rather go here than a chain. They have quite a selection. All kinds of soft serve in cones and cups. They also have rotating flavors of Dole Whip. It's about $3 for a medium. This is one of the better prices around here for this. If you want something greasy you can get it also. There's the usual like the burgers and fries. It still is a local favorite. Long lines all the time it seems. The waiting sucks but it's worth it though.

What! Hidden gem much?! My Mom likes to help me discover new places on Yelp to try out and she chose this place! Applause to my Mom! Dairy Grove is awesome! Everyone was smiley and quick to take our order. They have DOLE WHIP here!!! If you love Disneyland, you know what that is and I had to try it. Here they call it Dole Soft Serve. Today they had mango and strawberry dole fruit flavors. I got the twist of it in a cup. Amazing! Delicious! So fruity and not too sweet. The flavors of Dole change weekly.My Mom ordered a banana split and it was huge! She loved it. The prices here are really stellar. Our total was $8. Make sure to tip!

This is an average, at best, place. There is limited parking, and only one way in and out (unless you do the drive-up window. My wife and I once owned and ran a very successful ice cream restaurant (not something that I would recommend doing due to the long hours, narrow profit margins and weather dependent business), so perhaps I am a bit too critical when I review such an establishment. I always order a milkshake ( choc, or choc/PB) and I consider myself to be a good judge of this type of drink. My shake was not as thick as it should be and the flavor was somewhat bland (too much milk). The prices were a little on the high side as well. Having gone to nearly a dozen ice cream places in the area, I would rank this experience in the bottom third.

While the drive thru was a horrific experience due to the wait time and congestion, in comparison to parking and going up to the front, the ice cream was unbelievably good and reasonably priced. I had a chocolate milkshake. Having had many milkshakes in my life, this has to be top 3.
