DA Guild Pizza

Great pizza! The "Jessica's Cheese" was awesome...best cheese pizza I ever had. Perfectly browned cheese.Didn't mind the grease, that comes part and parcel of eating fatty foods, amirite?I had placed an order of 3 XL pizzas and 3 orders of 25 wings to be delivered 6 hours later. They showed up right on time and the delivery guy was very nice.So happy to finally find a great pizza place in Portage Lakes Ohio!

RUDE!!! We have been ordering from them for years and some girl (lady) that answers the phone is RUDE. She will blurt out RUDELY "we don't have any large dough so you can't order large pizzas" or when ordering for school workers, again she rudely said we don't have any dough made, HELLO, it's 1pm. Then we called on a Sunday again, around 1pm and again, no "large dough" made, we could only get mediums. I called to order a sheet pizza and large pizza, went in 10 mins before I said I needed the order and was RUDELY told, "you said 130pm so it's not 130" I said ok, well I'll be back and she just shook her head at me. This pizza is hit or miss, sometimes it's the best pizza and sometimes it's burnt and dry and awful. So it's a gamble.

Once again, burnt pizza. I'm done. No more chances. Waste of money. Look at this pizza? All three were burnt.

Love their extra hot wings. Very large wings with great flavor. I always order when I'm in the area

Most of the workers are either usually having a bad day or just blatantly rude. The food is either under or overcooked, or is even expired. When delivered the toppings slide off and the conditions in house are not sanitary.

(Looking at pictures on here, I can say that the pizza looks pretty delicious, but I only ordered a meatball sub and mozz sticks). First of all, anytime you give your customer "blown up" cheese sticks, that's not a good sign -- especially when they're five bucks for five. Meatball sub was actually pretty tasty, but my first thought was: this looks greasy. I dunno, something about the place, I almost walked out after walking in and no one came to take my order for the first minute (slow time of the day, but still). I also felt like the manager/owner seemed a little unfriendly. I asked for a recommendation on sides, etc, and one could tell he wanted to say: I don't have time for this - just gimme your lousy order, punk. Service was somewhat slow. Prices did seem fair (mozz sticks are always $). Another place that makes me want to work on my own cooking, overall. Would probably give it another shot if not for the mozz sticks. Not cool.

Really like the service. Very friendly and helpful. The pizza is really good. I had a coupon for bogo and will be able to have lunch for the next 3 days. Love that they use mozzarella cheese I think next time I would like to try their pasta.

Went a few weeks back, ordered all white chicken dinner, paid and went home. Didn't know until I got home that it was missing a breast. Called them and they said they must have forgotten to tell me they were out. Asked for a credit and they agreed, now today I call at 3:30 on a Saturday and ask them up front and they have no chicken breast? BE SURE TO ASK THEM WHEN YOU ORDER IF THEY HAVE WHAT YOU'RE ORDERING OR CHECK THE ORDER BEFORE YOU LEAVE, THIS IS NO WAY TO DO BUSINESS (I didn't want to leave them any stars, but Yelp won't let me do that :( )

This is false advertising, they should change the name. Under this new management there is nothing that vaguely resembles Da Guild. I'm disappointed because it's been a favorite for years, but I will not go back. If something works, why fix it?

I do not recommend ordering food here. The place is dirty, with old food left under tables from previous days before. I went when it first opened and the place was filthy. The subs I ordered were inedible as the had rotten lettuce on them and soggy buns. I watched the help prepare my food with no gloves. All prices were higher than the website. I watched a guy come in after picking up supplies and start handling peoples food again with bare hands. He never washed hands after coming in from outside. I have ordered there a few times and never been happy. Never again. Owner obviously does not care about his business.
