D'antonio's Pizza Lodi

I walked in and it was 1976 again. This place is hasn't aged at all. The table top pac-man machine is still there. I ordered my pizza and eating it I was transported back to when i was 15 eating there the first time. Wonderful. The pizza is the right amount of cheese, sauce and toppings. the crust is perfect in its flavor and crispness I am glad some things do not change!!!

I have had seen all of the mixed reviews about this place so I never went,so finally my husband and I decided to give it a try, I'm sad I waited so long to go the service was great and so was the pizza. The building might not be the greatest but, that is usually where you find good food, not a chain restaurant or a ritzy place. So if you have been leery about trying don't wait as long as I did give it a try you might like it. I did!!!

This is a simple very throwback to the 1970s pizza place. I have been here twice with my wife, the first time I had veal parmigiana dinner, the second time was a veal parm sandwich. The dinner was really good but the sandwich was a little lacking, mostly in the store bought bread. My wife loved her pizza. The pizza isn't like anything we have had before. The crust was buttery ahs thick and soft. They only take cash, no credit cards. Feels like it's been here forever and will continue to be the same in another 50 years.

Good pizza. Real cheese. Good sauce and crust. Love this pizza. Always go out of my way to stop here whenever I'm in the area. And it's pricing is great. $10 for extra large pie. Can't go wrong.

Very upset. Ordered from them on new years eve, waited over 2 hours for the pizza, a sub and some garlic toast. By the time I got my food the pizza seemed like it was left out for a least an hour it was NOT fresh! The only thing edible was the sub and I ended up splitting it with my boyfriend and toddler.(tried to call that night but line was constantly busy/gave up). Tried to call new years day but they were closed. Called today and explained and you know what they said? "Sorry! We can't do anything several days later, should have called us that night!" Too bad I tried and the line was always busy and I wasn't waiting another 2 hours for food! I ordered from there all the time, never again after this. I'm pretty upset.Amazing pizza but sick of the rushed service and constantly getting burnt stuff and now this. I'm done.

I feel my two cents has to be added here, to balance out the bad reviews that this place got in the "filtered" section. Having spent our early formative years living in Lodi, my brother and I still come to this place in an annual pilgrimage from Cincinnati/Dayton to the Mecca of delicious 'za. Everything about the pie is perfect, from crust to topping. The service is excellent from a colorful crew with personality in spades. And who can say anything bad about a place with vintage arcade games? That being said, the pizza joint that has recently moved in around the corner could benefit from a piece of advice: this is D's town, and it's only big enough for D.

BEST pizza in town! If you are passing through town definitely worth the stop. The interior has seen better days, but the pie makes up for it. Still hanging tough even though the pizza chains have set up camp around the corner.

If you can get them to answer the phone, you're lucky. Well, maybe not too lucky. When I arrived at the restaurant it actually had a sign on the door that says (Absolutely no walk in orders). How do they stay in business? When I walked in a smell hit me and it was not a smell of food. It kind of smelled like sewage. Once I got past the smell I tried to see if anyone was there. I had to yell back through the kitchen about six times to get someone to help me. While I was yelling I looked around the corner to find lots of junk stacked up in the corner of the dining room. Looked like children had been playing in the dining area. I don't think you can eat in this restaurant. Well now let's talk about the food. We ordered a large pizza with pepperoni and sausage. I also ordered fried mushrooms. The mushrooms were mediocre and kind of mushy. The pizza was pretty good considering everything else. Sad to say that I don't think my husband and I will be going back.

My family gets it every single saturday Because it taste so good we always get 2 extra large pizzas with ranch it is SO GOOD!!!! The service is amazing it takes only 30 mins after ordering to get the pizza which i love! The outside building isnt that good but its still fine!

Website says open for dining. Was not! Sign on door say's sorry for inconvenience. Called asked why and said Covid in 2020 closed them. And now open when they feel like it.they are not friendly on phone either.
