D & R Bagels

Want to get yelled at for not standing in the bagel line in order to order a cup of coffee? This busy, bewildering place is worth a visit then! After ten minutes standing by the register (where the coffee and cups enticingly sit) and having order after order and "who's next" yelled to people behind and around me, I finally said "I'm next" to the cashier looking at the guy next to me. She said sharply "you need to stand over there" pointing at the bagel and sandwich ordering line." Begrudgingly she took the 15 seconds to get me a coffee. Coffee is awful by the way. It's busy enough that I assume the bagels and sandwiches are quite good. Not for me!

This place is pretty amazing. The aroma and atmosphere were inviting and clean. The staff promptly greeted me and asked if I had any questions. I ordered the Asiago egg and cheese bagel. My order was made to order and very fresh. I'd dine here again to try their other breakfast offerings.

Ordered cold cut tray for 5, They were very accommodating instead of 4 meats I wanted double corn beef and double turkey got it, no extra cost, I also ordered pastrami extra for tray, got roast beef instead, tray suppose to come with cole slaw, didn't get it. everything else was fine, service was very good and evan offered to help me tray out to car. price also was very good, new owner may want to make sure orders are correct, would give them another try.

This place is awesome! My boyfriend grew up coming here and on my first visit to the city, we were so hooked that we found ourselves grabbing bagels from this place three days in a row!My first choice was the Asiago bagel with plain cream cheese. The bagel was perfectly baked, with a golden, cheesy exterior that was just the right mix of crispy and chewy, paired with the smooth and tangy cream cheese.My second time around, I tried my boyfriend's mom's go-to order: a salt bagel with chive cream cheese. Wow. This combination is something special. The salt bagel is exceptional, with just the right amount of salt to add flavor without overwhelming the palate. It pairs beautifully with the creamy, chive cream cheese.It's a classic mom-and-pop shop, where you can tell the owners are genuinely involved and deeply care about their business. Everyone we interacted with was kind and welcoming, and their hard work is evident in every bite.If you're in Cleveland and craving a bagel, DNR Bagels is a must-visit. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this place will quickly win you over with its delicious bagels and warm, friendly vibe.

This was our first time visiting D&R bagels. We went for breakfast. The weather was still nice enough that they still had a few tables set up outside for cafe-like seating. The table got a couple items to half so we could try different things. We opted for lox, eggs and onions with an everything bagel and also a corned beef and egg bagel. Both were very good. We did order an additional cream cheese to go with the lox and eggs dish.

We've been going here ever since my now 13 y/o, would affectionately call it "The muffin place" when he was 4 (he used to get the blueberry muffin). It's been a Solon staple. I love their bagel sandwiches; you can customize, made to order. Cream cheese flavors are great and they have pumpkin flavor for fall! My elder children love the "Kyle", so you may want to try that. Glen is the best! He's so friendly and accommodating; 9 years later and he still says to tell me son hello.

Locally owned. All fresh and great staff. Must try. Great place for locals to meet. Bagels comparable to NYC bagels. Great staff and fast.

Popped in to grab some lunch and decided on their Buffalo Crispy Chicken Wrap! It was the perfect amount of spiciness and the chicken was still crispy when I brought it back into the office to eat. It was a good amount of food for the price of $7. Note: you can choose the chicken to be grilled or crispy. I normally not one to grab desserts, but the offerings behind the glass case was a different story... There were a couple of cookies and I noticed a jumbo (and yes, I mean JUMBO) oatmeal raisin cookie and decided to give it a try. I would say the cookie was about 8" in diameter and that's not a normal size cookie. (Drumroll please...) That was the best oatmeal raisin cookie I have ever tasted!! It was so fresh and delicious, I honestly cannot wait to go back and get a cookie! It was so worth it for $1.90!Not sure where you can get a freshly made lunch for $8.90, but I found my place! Get tasty food and support local!!

Nice quiet afternoon spot to grab a quick lunch in a clean establishment. The service is good and accurate with a nice assortment of deli meats and sandwiches.
