I went to Crooked Tree on a whim a couple months back while on Kelley's Island for the day. The have a beautiful lawn to lounge on in an adirondack chair or a table. They have umbrellas to shade you from the sun which we really needed the day we were there! They have a host at the front to bring you to your seat/table and then the wait staff come to take your order. I had a flight which come with your choice of three wines. I had three of their dry reds and they were all pretty tasty - the Eagles Eryie being my favorite. They have a little store inside where you can buy wine to go and other wine related things. They are also a dog friendly place which was good because I had my pup with me that day!

What a nice addition to KI. Family owned winery, just started production. They have a wine tasting room, with outside seating. They produce four wines at present, three red and one white. The star is their cabernet franc, which they grow on site. Complementary nuts, dried apricots and chocolates with your tasting. They have a wine flight of all four wines or you can purchase a glass. Small gift shop with selection of shirts. Very friendly owners who are working hard to make this successful. Only open from Thursday-Saturday from 1-4 PM. Located east of the Seaway Marina. Worth a road trip from downtown KI!

This place is brand new! It's a great addition to Kelley's Island. It's just past Seaway Marina. The couple that owns the place is lovely. They stayed open for us even though it was 3:58 pm and they were getting ready to close. They have a good selection of wine (4 types). They are dryer than the other winery on the island. We are excited to see how it grows in the future. We also had the pleasure of meeting the two dogs after the winery closed! We are huge dog lovers. They were very well behaved and appeared to be loving life! The are doing a great job at this place. Will definitely be back!

The third establishment serving homemade wine that we tried on our adventure to KI. By far the best. For such a small newer winery, they have a nice selection of homegrown dry reds and whites with some sweeter ones we did not try. Nice vineyard feel outside with chairs facing the grapes where you can relax and try a flight, glass, or bottle. Owned by a nice couple with help from the sisters on the weekend, it's a family run winery that really takes pride in their craft. Open limited hours because they're working the vineyard the rest of the time so make sure to check before you go.

Very much enjoyed my visit. As I hadn't been to Kelleys in a couple of years, this was a pleasant surprise. Lovely tasting/production room and outdoor space. The hosts could not have been any more personable. The tasting was done very well and included light snacks. I walked out with two bottles to take home and look forward to my next visit.

Found myself with some time before catching the Ferry back to Marblehead. In January when most places have closed for the season, a friend from the island took me here to introduce me to this wonderful hidden gem. The owners were extremely gracious and friendly. They have a wine flight for a taste of their offerings or you can order by glass or bottle. I found the Raccoon Red very tasty. A superb red blend and with the noshes they offered along with it, it was a pleasant experience. I highly recommend!
