Stopped here for a hot fudge sundae. Decided to get an almond joy sundae and an Al's parfait for my husband who likes Reese's.. The almond joy was really tasty. Hot fudge with shredded almond s, whipped cream and a cherry on top. Was a great summertime treat. The young lady was helpful. They were not too busy. This is a traditional alder style soft serve ice cream shop. Definitely a place to go during the season.

An old school place for ice cream. Cooper's Twist is a favorite in Eastlake. Ice cream is the main thing. Besides that there's greasy hot food. They are still cash only. Behind the times they seem to always be. It doesn't accept cash. That makes this inconvenient. If you do have cash in you then you have a lot to choose from. They have the usual stuff like slushies. It's about $2 for a medium. The ice cream is about the same price to get a single scoop. Just know they don't give you a lot. This place also raises its prices. It sucks you need cash. Just remember to bring it. They need to get to modern times.

Overpriced but it's HOME!!! Support Local. Support Small Businesses! Anytime I fly back to Eastlake I stop here a few times!

Honestly, It's not easy to rate an icon of my youth. As a child, it was a special treat to visit Cooper's in its iconic A-Frame building. When I played baseball, this place was packed after each game. In high school, I'd bring the occasional date here on a hot summer night for a soft serve cone. So can anything really live up to the memories? This is still a great little ice cream stand. Service is fast and friendly, and it is still popular on a hot summer night. Have prices gone up? Sure. But this isn't a 50 cent cone from McDonalds or Burger King. Cooper's has a wide selection of ice cream, toppings, and sundaes made to order. Eastlake would not be the same without Cooper's Twist and Shake.

Great memories as a kid going to Coopers. Good sundaes and cones. Lots of good flavors of soft serve. Down sides: cash only, kind of expensive, and not very friendly service.

Another ice cream joint that I've been frequenting since childhood. Cooper's is unique in a few ways. Besides just your run of the mill chocolate/vanilla twist they offer a raspberry/vanilla twist. SO GOOD!!! It's even better with that Krunch Kote krap on top. (I almost typed Krunk Kote). Cooper's is usually really busy with all of the Greaselake baseball kids running around. So try to go mid-day or before the games are over.

Rude service from the owners too !!!! We went there as a family as my husbands side went there all the time when they were kids. We all ordered and my daughter got her ice cream in a cup and she asked if she could get sprinkles. The guy grabbed it didn't say anything and put some on, handed it to us rudely and said 50 cents. She then asked if she could have a cherry. He said no we don't have any as we saw another customer with one. Maybe went on the wrong day but we will not go back since.

About 90% of the time I get the feeling that the owners (who typically work the windows with a few part-time helpers) are irritated that they even have customers. They're generous with the actual soft-serve ice cream, but if you get anything with toppings, you're lucky if you get more than a pinch in your flurry or sundae. I think the locals are apologists for the business just because it's a "staple" but I'd rather drive 10 more minutes into Willowick or Willoughby and get CP's or Charlotte's any day. Plus it's a cash-only biz, which makes absolutely no sense these days when Square is available. Save yourself the disappointment and go elsewhere.

Worst ice cream I've ever had. Not creamy at all, every flavor was more like a sherbet. Kind of a gritty texture. Also, rather tasteless. I had one scoop each of two different flavors, one was sweet, one one tart, but no real flavor. No where near the quality of Mitchell's or even East Coast Custard. I will say the place was packed. I don't understand it.
