I've never heard of this place before, but learned that it's a chain membership type restaurant. It's a different aspect for sure! It's open to the public, so you don't need a membership, but they offer them at a great price for wine and special membership offers in return. Most members eat and get bottles of wine to eat with their meal and then take more on the go. It was a very interesting concept!I ordered the fish special with the green beans as they were both recommended by the waiter. The green beans were deliciously fresh and amazing.

Some winners, some losers.Betty's potatoes - like an au gratin, but shredded potatoes instead of sliced. Very creamy. These were really good.Crispy brussel sprouts - also quite good. Not spicy at all to me, which was great. The flavors and textures are all really nice.Wild Mushroom Flatbread (seasonal) - very cheesy, lots of pesto & mushrooms! This was nice and large enough for a family to share.Prime sandwich - this is always good, but really overpriced for what it is. They don't give you very much dipping sauce. We didn't try asking for more, but hopefully that's something they'd do if you asked.Butternut squash gnocchi - this unfortunate dish... It tasted how to it looked...sad. brown. mushy. The diner style onion straws were a really weird choice, texute-wise. Made this dish feel thrown together by a college kid. I would definitely not order or recommend this one. I can see from other photos on here that this is a consistent presentation for this dish and not just an off night.Chicken picatta - while this is usually a dish my dining partners have enjoyed in the past, they found the breading too heavy and the pasta overcooked this time. Spiced white and spiced red warmed wines - the table preferred the white. We had to wait quite a while for them to warm a new batch up as we had caught them between batches. It was a long time before drinks arrived at the table. They were slammed on a Saturday the weekend before Christmas. We came in at 5:30 and didn't get out of there until 7:15ish, and we were not trying to take our time. Took them quite a long time to take our order and the quite a long time to bring everything, and with very little communication or checking in on us. Meals came piecemeal and it was a little awkward urging my dining companions to eat their mains while I waited on mine to arrive for a good 8-10 further minutes. Doesn't sound like long, but while your food is getting cold in the AC and you've already been waiting a long time.Between the really hit or miss food and the very long wait times for everything, the prices seem astronomical for the uneven quality and service that you get. This still feels like just a apps and wine (if you like their brand of wine) restaurant to me. We have been a few times now and I wouldn't bother with any main I have ever had here again.

We stopped in for a couple of drinks and appetizers before heading to another event. The bar is long and well kept. The bartenders were very attentive and helpful. It wasn't quite busy yet, but getting there at about 5:15PM on a Friday. The restaurant and bar area were both clean and welcoming. We tried some appetizers; the ahi tuna sashimi and the calamari. Both were prepared well and tasted great. We also had the espresso martinis. They were decent drinks but not what I was hoping for. This was my first visit and I will definitely be back.

Probably the best place in Toledo for a fine dining experience. The ambiance is impeccable. On every occasion (6+), the wait staff was friendly, knowledgable, and professional. The food (at lunch and dinner) has been excellent. Especially notable are the appetizers (ahi tuna sashimi, drunken shrimp, aroncini, sweet chili calamari). The entres I've had were all excellent - perfectly prepared and presented. (Although I've never ordered a steak.) Wait time for orders was just right - not rushed allowing time to enjoy the various wine tastings that come with every sitting. And then there is the wine! While probably not the best "world-class" vintages, they are all excellent offerings. And all are high quality and very interesting choices. Part of the fun at CH is every month is their new wine offering. And not the same sort of traditional vintages one finds at Sonoma, Napa, Willamette Valley, and other "wine country" venues. (Not to disparage the fine wines of California, Washington State, etc). But their's are fun and interesting proprietary blends produced at their own USA-located winery using grapes procured from around the world. CH is definitely a destination site in Toledo for a memorable culinary experience. A great asset to my home town. Highly recommended especially for those who have a broader geographic culinary experience and find the Toledo options somewhat limited and predictable.

We had my daughter's 25th birthday dinner. We had a great time. I also joined the wine club. I had the vegan corn and tomato risotto. It was good but the portion was small. Our server was great!

Love the ambiance, but i think the food was very very MID. The price does not reflect the quality at all. I only came because i was in town with some local friends. Food i would give a 2 star. Had pot stickers and lettuce wraps. Probably the best quality for price. Also the meatballs. Small and honestly wouldn't order again. 2 friends got lobster bisque and both would recommend it. Got a side of mashed potatoes and was very dry / cold. Needed more milk or butter. Wouldn't recommend those either. One friend enjoyed the short ribs and another the grouper. I wouldn't choose to be back unless it's for some wine and appetizers.

this may be the best place we have had dinner in the greater toledo area ever. Our server Amber was impeccable. The timing for the food is amazing. They don't rush you or take all of your order at once. They came by and brought us drinks and took our appetizer order and didn't even take our dinner order until after we were partway done with our appetizers. The pacing for this dinner was perfect. when our drinks were running low, we didn't have to ask our waitress showed up with fresh beverages. Her suggestions and reasoning why she liked particular dishes were spot on and appreciated.I ordered my steak, medallions blue rare. They did not come out that way, and when I cut into them, the waitress noticed before I even said anything. As it turned out, I kept them and ate them anyway, because they were extremely tender and melted in your mouth and I saw no point in throwing them in the garbage. That being said the managers , still went out of their way to make up for everything. The atmosphere is wonderful and relaxing, we ate out outside on the patio, but there was tons of indoor space. They have a huge wine tasting room, which was nice. The outdoor patio is surrounded by a tall wall garden and shades so you don't even even realize you're sitting in a parking lot having your dinner.I highly recommend this place. This may be the first place we've been to that ran so smoothly and had enough staff. There were times when we were done with our plates and a different server pick them up if she was on her way past our table. Not something you see everywhere, most places don't want to help anybody else out , if it's not their customer. This place works like a well oiled machine.they have their own truffles, but we decided to try the signature chocolate cake and we were not disappointed. It was layered with hazelnut ganache, and it was not overly sweet at all. Just a very nice balance.Or definitely going back and we're definitely definitely bringing all of our out-of-town guests here .

The food, wine tasting, & our server Kendall were great. However there was a male server who continuously conversed with the customers at the next booth which was very distracting & made our experience less enjoyable. They were so loud that it made it difficult for me., my mother (who I was visiting from out of town) & my husband to talk to each other.

went on Sunday morning. had drinks and appetizer. Ordered 2 soups and a salad. waited 45min-1hour. Didn't see our waitress so i flagged down another waitress and asked to see how long before we received food or just to give us our bill. Manager apologized and refused to charge us for the meal. As he was straightening out the bill the server came by to tell us how she asked the kitchen how long it would take but never came to our table to let us know it was delayed or to see if we needed anything while we waited. Disappointing to say the least, but the manager was very nice apologetic and refused to let me pay for what we had.
