Contessa's on the Lake

We really enjoyed our visit to Contessa's! We had a great fish fry! There was plenty of fish in our order! The fries were good, too! The staff was very friendly and helpful with what we should order!!! I also love that Contessas is very giving to the community!!!

This is the worst pizza I've ever had in my life. It has spaghetti sauce instead of pizza sauce.... And the pizza is drowning in it. Their breadsticks were delicious, I think because they were sauce-less. I would have given it less stars but they do so many amazing things for the community and are such nice people. I've had some of their other food before and it was okay.

My wife and I opted for some truly great pizza and since we really enjoy those baked at Contessa's, I went there to order and take them home.They are located in a stand alone building on the west side of Lake Road in downtown Chippewa Lake, and have parking for 3-4 cars plus a handicapped spot. There is even a wheelchair ramp.Right when you enter, you are privy to the front counter and the entire kitchen area. On the left, you see a special rotating oven whose racks rotate around a drum, as opposed to a flat oven where you throw the pies in and hope they are evenly fired.This rotating oven is very unique and is the reason why their pizzas taste the way they do. They only use the freshest ingredients, and are generous with their toppings.There is a beverage refrigerator to the right, and the entrance into a large eating area. Both the kitchen and the seating areas are bright and well lit. Everyone was happy and very helpful in choosing the right size and combination of toppings.My wife & I each tried their white sauce pizza. She ordered a medium with chicken mushrooms and black olives. I a double chicken with onions; then waited to drive them home. Both were delicious!So if you and yours have a hankering for pizza that isn't paper thin so the toppings fall through or so thick it is like eating a loaf of bread, try Contessa's medium crust pies.Their friendliness and excellent pizza will have you coming back for more!

Love the chicken and pizza!!Also have great rigatoni and weekly specials. Order early in the day. They run out early.

Family owned and operated! Friendly and hospitable! This pizza smells and looks and tastes amazing! There's a difference than with the chains .... it just opened yesterday and I'm so very thankful for this new yummy local pizza and chicken stop! Please come see for yourself!!!!

Damn good pie, some of the best I have had in the greater Medina are!! New family go to!!

Pizza was kinda terrible and the service couldn't decide when it'd be done. They said 30 minutes, then 20 more, and then 40 more.
