Conneaut Cellars Winery is a great winery. Out of all the wineries I visited in the region this winery was the most traditional with wine varieties found in any winery I've gone to in California or Washington. It has great ambiance - it feels like a wine tasting room should feel, if that makes sense. They proudly display their well earned awards and the lady who helped my mother and I was very knowledgable. I loved how they clearly had a sweet scale and weren't either pretentious nor poetic in their descriptions which gave a very clear expectation of the tasting profile. I ended up buying a bottle of their Forte Venango which was a fabulous port. I found it smooth, sweet but not super sweet, and very tasty! While I opted for the wine flight trying pinots and the malbec my mother opted for a wine slushy. She very much enjoyed her wine slushy as we discussed wine. I was sorry to hear that they no longer made ice wine due to lack of popularity. My mother said that they had the best ice wine. It was a fantastic stop on my wine tour!

This is a local winery that we like to stop at when we are in town. They have a nice selection of whites and reds, a couple rose, and a couple of bubbles.Today I was on a mission to replenish my stock of wine before heading to our next party. A quick trip in and out, and I left with 3 reds and a rose. They winery was very busy, but the staff was quick and friendly. As soon as one customer had paid at the register, she was working quickly to fill the next order. At the bar, tastings were in full swing. It's a beautiful building, and they have very good wine. We will definitely be back.

Conneaut Cellars Winery is an enjoyable place to visit. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the wines, as well as the grapes used to make the wines. You can taste 6 wines for free, and there are spirits and ports you can also try for a small price. All in all, Conneanu Cellars is a great little place to relax and unwind.

From Cali wine stand point, only the whites were tolerable. all the reds were shallow and didnt finish well. But we knew what we were getting into so it was fine. service wise it was okay. did the tasting and asked for a lighter pour on all wines. but when i asked to retaste, i got stiffed arm with "by law we are only allowed to pour 6 samples..." No biggie, it was not memorable enough to buy anyways.

Best winery we tried while being in East Pennsylvania. Friendly staff and great wine! We loved the "Snow Princess". Note: our favorite winery is the "M Winery" in Geneva Ohio. Not one wine we didn't like! Definitely worth the drive to Ohio. We spent $140 and brought home a case! Lol

Awesome. My favorite winery. Every time I'm in the area, I literally buy 8 cases. Delicious and do much better than that sour stuff most restaurants serve!!!
