Cold Creek Cafe

We came to Castalia for a baseball tournament and had some time between games. Came to eat at this gem and we're very happy we did. The food was great and service was friendly. Would definitely return.

Great food and service is very kind, courteous and respectful of the people that they serve. My breakfast suggestion is the Western Omelette with loaded potatoes and side meat! Lunch, the Club Sandwich or Chicken Cordon Blue with fries. Also great for a BLT or Wings

I was at Cold Creek Cafe for the seafood buffet 02/17/2018 with my Dad & Stepmom and another couple. I usually do not rate an establishment so poorly, but none of us at our table had an enjoyable experience. Most of the food I tried was overcooked or possibly leftover from a previous buffet. Staff seemed to be unorganized with their job tasks as used plates piled up on all the tables in our area. Needless to say, the price paid for the quality of food and service were not even close to being in alignment. Sorry, but I will not be returning to Cold Creek Cafe and I will not recommend this establishment to anyone. Two thumbs down!

Breakfast on Labor Day was tasty and inexpensive. It came out quickly. I love corned beef hash and this was exceptional. The fruit plate was very nicely done with ripe cantaloupe, watermelon, strawberries, and orange slices.

We tried to call twice to see if they take credit cards and was hung up on both times after letting it ring about 10 times. We will find somewhere else to eat on the way to Lake Erie.

food was OK, most was overcooked, service was good, they have raised the price from $40 to $50, for the seafood buffet. overpriced for the quality of the food.

This place is outstanding! I drive 30 minutes out of my way to get coffee and pastries here! It is as good, if not better, than any top ranked coffee shop in Portland, Ore., or NYC. Simply the best
