Dave Epifano is a godsend! He went above and beyond to make our wedding so special. We had 155 guests altogether and everyone raved about the quality of the service and the food. The food was beyond excellent! We loved the pasta dishes and the steaks were cooked to perfection. We are going to hire them again for my sister's wedding this summer. 10/10! Keep up the great work, Dave. Thanks again for everything.

Elegant maybe, but Elegant Affairs makes it very clear that elegance and professionalism do not mean the same thing. We used Elegant Affairs to cater our wedding at the Grand Pacific Junction Hotel. Unfortunately this is the caterer who exclusively deals with this location. First off, Dave Epifano was very short mannered, showed little to no excitement about hosting our event and was not in the least bit accommodating. Food: Delicious! That is the one positive. However, multiple guests complained that they did not have enough food to serve them, the father of the bride did not get to eat at all. Service: Dave was there (at least physically) for the very beginning of the event but left early. 2. Dave said that he would coordinate with the DJ about the timing, we were planning a Champagne toast later in the evening but when the bridal party had arrived the champagne was already poured on the tables and warm so we had to change our schedule for the toasts. 3. The servers broke down our head table for the dance floor (which was expected) however we created a vase of flowers for the head table before the wedding which we wanted to keep and that mysteriously went missing. Seating: Dave said that we would figure that out when we set up the hall THE DAY BEFORE... This left us to figure out our seating for our guests the night of our rehearsal dinner and the morning of the wedding as we rushed to get this done basically ruining all of the fun of the morning. It truly is a shame that this is the caterer on contract for such a beautiful historic location. Grand Pacific Junction has a lot of historical relevance to my wife and her family and to have Elegant Affairs put such an unprofessional touch on that truly saddens my heart. We still had an amazing day however, a caterer with good food shouldn't leave such a bad taste in your mouth.

Thank you so much to the team at Cleveland's Elegant Affairs for making my first big dinner party such a success! They took care of everything, and my guests were raving about the food. It was such a great experience and I felt valued as a customer. I would recommend them to anyone in the Cleveland area for events large or small, and I will definitely be working with them again in the future!

I had my baby shower at the Grand Pacific Hotel. Dave's staff was kind enough to let us set up the day before the event. They also took the time to meet with us about the small details that mattered to us. It was the second time dealing with them and for both events the food was AMAZING! Our guests enjoyed all that they had to offer and we would highly recommend them.

No complaints- friendly servers, amazing food, easy to plan with, and reasonably priced. My parents LOVED their 25th anniversary party and I would recommend Alfonso's for any event in the future! Thanks to them for being AWESOME!

This caterer is anything BUT elegant. We had a baby shower for my grandson and his wife. The food and service was sub par. We were served baby sized portions of scrambled eggs. When guests asked for a little more, the servers said "NO, you'll have to wait until everyone is served". The bacon was greasy and undercooked. The potatoes were black and burnt. I've never seen fruit cut into tiny little rectangles with the rind still attached. The waffles looked like Eggos out of a box. They ran out of coffee after ten women had a cup. There were sixty women in attendance. We had to ask for more coffee three times. Each time we had to wait 20 minutes while a new pot brewed. The creamers were always empty and when they ran out of cream they went to the store (while we waited yet again) and brought back a half gallon of milk and set the carton on the table next to the coffee pot. The staff kept coming to our table to try to take our plates while we were still eating. Then at the end of the shower one of the servers was hovering around our homemade deserts (we brought to the event) asking if he could take the food home. He didn't seem too interested in the store bought pastries his boss threw on the buffet. I had my own catering business and still work with other catering companies. This event was very disappointing and in my opinion the caterer is unprofessional. Elegant Affairs by Alfonso's is the caterer you get stuck with when you book an event at the Grand Pacific Junction Hotel. The caterer asked to be paid in full two days before the shower. After my "granddaughter" and her mother complained, the caterer refunded about 8% of the total bill. What a joke...I guess he's laughing all the way to the bank. I ran my own catering business and currently work with other catering companies. This was pathetic. Elegant Affairs is the caterer you get stuck with when you book an event at the Grand Pacific Junction Hotel. Too bad for the venue as it is a lovely place.
