So after the Rock and roll Marathon this year we decided to get some brunch and let Google and Yelp direct us we ended up here at the Cleveland breakfast club. I am in eastsider and I'm not very familiar with having to pay to park for anything but when we found this place it has a pretty tight lot and although there are signs up saying that you do have to pay for Park you can safely ignore the signs and understand that you do not have to pay the park as confirmed by the host and waitress.Place is pretty damn busy as you can expect any breakfast place would be on a Sunday morning. We did not have to wait very long and the weather was very nice so we just chilled outside for a little bit. There were four in our party and our server was very sweet and nice but super duper busy. Our drinks of coffee and iced tea and orange juice came promptly. Both my daughter and I had the traditional two eggs bacon potatoes breakfast my wife got the waffle banana nut something and then we split a biscuit and gravy. The bacon was cooked perfectly I really like the potatoes but for two eggs it certainly looked to be about half an egg. I mean really a disturbingly exceptionally small amount of egg like a little more than a soup spoon worth. But I did have a biscuit and gravy extra so I didn't complain too much but I certainly would have liked to have a two eggs that were advertised in the menu. My son had the steak and eggs and he said it was perfect. Daughter had no complaints my wife inhaled her French toast and short of it being kind of cramped and kind of hot is a pretty decent meal. I just knocked off one star because the portion wasn't what I thought it was going to be and everyone at my table agreed I got screwed somehow LOL maybe it's them telling me I'm fat haha. Definitely would try again if I were ever on the west side

This was a nice quaint breakfast spot. Loved the older look of Shaker Heights ambience with the delicious food! Very savory and well put together. I'll definitely be back. Service was great and welcoming!

Had the pleasure of being able to go here this past weekend. I was out running errands with my sister and we stumbled upon the Cleveland Breakfast Club. The ambiance is super cute and very aesthetic. The staff were polite and well informed on the menu. I'd easily recommend going here and if I'm ever out that way again I'll be going back to try something else on the menu. I got the French toast and their potatoes, delicious! While my sister got chicken and waffles which she said were great as well. Next time I go, I'd love to grab some friends and have a nice girls brunch there!

The vibes are pretty nice & relaxed, wasn't too packed when I went. However, only 1 server. She was great & managed all of her tables really well! Ok... the Food: Eggs: 0/10 - I'm shocked they served me these "eggs"Shrimp: 0/10 - very salty & overcooked Fried catfish & grits: 4/10 - has potential Stuffed French toast: 0/10The manager did come over, took the food to show his staff and apologize so I really appreciate that. I've heard good things about this place, I'll give it another try another day and hopefully things are better.

Food outstanding. Most of the staff I find to be really nice. Food creative and fun. Accent pieces in the building make it a really relaxing environment. Breakfast bar stools are some of the most comfortable I have sat anywhere. I will sadly have to give a ding to a place I like. Waitress I got did not seem to like me and not sure why. Served people that came in after me coffee. Had to beg another staff member who was on point to help with coffee. Usually you sit where I sit refills and other things are easily on point

Today was my first visit but it won't be the last. First, the service was excellent. Very attentive and courteous. Secondly, the food came out in a timely manner for my party of 5. The presentation of our meals was excellent and the taste amazing. I highly recommend this establishment.

Embarrassed to say, we've driven passed many times and this was our first breakfast at this great restaurant in Shaker Square! The Shrimp and Grits were authentic (spicy) and the stuffed French Toast the best. Enjoyed great service and ambience and plan to stop back at their weekends only cajun dinner restaurant. Our recommendation is don't drive by, stop in and enjoy.

4.5 stars. The food is fantastic. The service was friendly. The restaurant has a good look. Half a star off due to poor parking in the area and not knowing what to do when we walked in. The sign says "Please wait to be seated," but there is no hostess or lectern or obvious area to wait. The entry was pretty crowded, and it was only after watching and listening for five minutes that I figured out how to get on the waitlist for a table. She said the wait would be 15 minutes, and that was spot-on. The waitress appeared immediately with big glasses of ice water (SO nice that we didn't have to ask for water. This was a plus). Came back within 5 or 10 minutes for our orders, and brought my husband's coffee and my mimosa pretty quickly. Coffee was hot and fresh. My mimosa wasn't the one I ordered (they have several kinds) but it was delicious and not a big deal, and I didn't say anything about it.Now to our breakfasts. Do not visit this establishment if you are in a hurry. It would be a mistake. Plenty of reviews let you know that the food takes a while, so if you go and then still get mad that you had to wait, that is on you. It took about an hour for our food to arrive. We weren't bothered, although the gentleman who served us thanked us for our patience (something tells me he has dealt with some aggravated customers). That's too bad, because the food was absolutely phenomenal, and being mad about something we knew to expect in advance would have spoiled it. Also, the place was absolutely packed. Our food arrived fresh and piping hot. My husband ordered the chicken and waffles, which were served with a little side of what was a type of pumpkin butter. Delicious. His plate was spotless when he finished. I got the shrimp and grits with a white wine cream sauce. I had never had shrimp and grits but ordered it because it is one of their specialties. I was not disappointed. It was one of the most flavorful things I have ever eaten. The shrimp was plentiful and the sauce was so good I could drink it.We aren't from the area and we were in town for a concert. It's only a 2hr drive for us, and when we left, we both said we would come back to Cleveland just to eat there. .
