Stopped here for lunch today for the first and last time. Food, service, etc. was fine. Tho it was only noon they were out of french fries. How could you not realize the day before that someone better buy more french fries. When we just about got the food we ordered, a woman came in with her pet dog. She sat in a booth with the dog next to her on the seat. The kitchen brought out some scrambled eggs on a plate and she proceeded to feed her dog from the plate in the booth. Judging from the employee reactions, it was not the first time.Tells me all I need to know about the cleanliness of this place

We went to Claudette's on Saturday for breakfast. It has been awhile but we decided to go. I had the Country Fried Steak, which comes with sausage gravy, hashbrowns, three eggs and toast. My sister had egg scramble skillet, which comes with hashbrowns and toast. The steak was delicious. Not greasy but crisp. I had the sausage gravy on the side. The portions are huge. The skillet was reportedly delicious also. They also put a coffee pot on the table. Six stars for that perk. Our waitress was epic! Wish I could remember her name.

Had breakfast there about 10 days ago. Wondered why dining area so cold?I learned after paying bill the furnance was broken and waitress said it will take $25,000 to fix it. So I do not plan to come back until I hear the place has a working furnance. Omelet was average and rye toast was so dry it was hardly edible. Not sure who owns or runs this place but it needs upgrades. There are few breakfast places in Westlake that offer decent food from the grill. Most food seems to be pre made and then warmed in microwave.

Claudette's is a wonderful "gem" in Westlake, Ohio. Open daily for breakfast and lunch; expansive menu with so many options, food portions are large and a great deal for the price. The service is excellent and there is a large "Claudette Community" of regular patrons. Nice, warm feel to the restaurant and family friendly!

Wow! Dining at Claudette's in Cleveland, Ohio, is an absolute must! We were welcomed immediately, and the entire staff was incredibly friendly. The restaurant was clean, and the menu was extensive, offering a variety of tempting options. The presentation of the food was outstanding, and it tasted just as good as it looked! I enjoyed two cups of coffee, crepes with apples, scrambled eggs with spinach and provolone cheese, along with two (2) strips bacon and two (2) sausage links. For just around $15 extra for the cheese and spinach, I received a generous portion that was definitely worth it.

The food here is so good and the service is wonderful. Every time I'm walk in I get a nice warm welcome. The food is always hot and tastes excellent. This a great family restaurant to have breakfast, or lunch. There is something on the menu for everyone here.

I had the stuffed French toast. It was the best one I have had in a long time. I am also a coffee snob (coffee shops only), and this coffee was so good. I also recommend the corned beef hash and cinnamon swirl French toast!
