Mom & Pop type diner.Great selection of entrees,The chicken dumpling soup was delicious.The Mediterranean salad was delicious and the potato shins were delicious.The restaurant was clean & the staff welcoming.Ample parking outside.This was my first visit and would definitely dine in again. A+

City Diner is fast becoming my fave lil' breakfast spot. Very neighborhood feeling here, sometimes I see the same regulars too. My grandma is no longer on this great planet, but somehow I feel her cooking when I eat here. Expect to wait on the weekends if you shall grace us with your presence after 10am. The staff is always super awesome and they all seem to get along well, which is unusual, but I'll take it!I don't think my coffee cup has ever reached just below halfway (as if there's someone in the back with an alarm that goes off to get to your at that near decrement level). I have been here easily now about 10 times since my first visit late summer this year. It's almost always hustlin' and bustlin' here. More often times than not, I find myself going one of two ways. Either corned beef hash and eggs with toast, or I get the potato pancake breakfast "sandwich" which is two homemade (enter someones Grandma here!!) potato pancakes stuffed with two eggs, choice of meat, and cheese. If this is your breakfast, plan on skipping lunch.While this is not a fancy place, it's a damn good neighborhood joint where you feel at home, you can comfortably wear your sweats, and not spend too much moolah.

I was so hopeful with this one but disappointed. The portions are good for the price, however, the flavor is so lacking. I ordered a southwest skillet and was super excited. There was little meat to be found in the skillet. The majority of the skillet was undercooked potatoes. They had no color on them at all and absolutely no flavor. Why a 3 and not lower? My sister-in-law had the biscuits with gravy and she quite enjoyed it. She said the biscuits where baked perfectly with flavorful gravy with lots of sausage. I can't speak to service or ambiance as I ordered online and picked up to go. I did notice that the prices when you order online is a bit higher then what's listed on the menus which is a bit irritating. I liked that you can track the progress of your order easily though. Overall, just meh and would pass in the future, unfortunately.

This adorable diner will take you back for a minute to simpler times where everyone seemed to bond over a nice breakfast with sweet pleasantries. Their entire staff was so welcoming and worked as an incredible team, which was really nice to see. They all smiled and waved goodbye to their regulars, which was really touching. Also, they aren't afraid to customize your plate so you get something that you enjoy. It is my largest embarrassment to be "that girl" when it comes to ordering but especially at a diner. Unfortunately I'm doing low carb right now so I couldn't get down with all the toast and potatoes... believe me, I wanted to.Special shout out to Heather who was so accommodating and friendly; she made me feel right at home and even gave me powdered cinnamon when I asked for it for my coffee, which I know is a ridiculous request lol, I've become so boujie.Back to the food; I had two eggs over medium, bacon, and mixed vegetables (the $4.99 Early Rise ***deal city***) while my companion partook in a meal that looked far more divine. He had some absolutely out of this world blueberry hot cakes which he commented also tasted kind of "vanilla-y" - they were super fluffy and the perfect amount of poppin tart blueberries. He had the rye toast with his meal, and I'm not gonna lie, I had a bite, my eyes rolled back into my head with that "this is too good, I can't" look... it was sinful so I handed the toast back, lol. He was very kind to share some of his amazing sausage patties with me and those hit the SPOT. They were a little tiny spicy but in all the right ways, and super juicy! Bacon was a little flatter I would say, but not lacking in flavor.If you're looking for the perfect diner experience with breakfast options to wow you, stop on by! The coffee is hot, the people are kind, and the food is delicious!

Nice family restaurant, centers right I. North Ridgeville. Great for breakfast or lunch, they are great service and very attentive

Walk into the bathroom after eating breakfast and was completely disgusted. If you see how FILTHY it is and you still eat here than that's your choice. It's the dirtiest bathroom I've ever seen. My husband said the same about the men's room. If we would have used the restroom before eating, we would have left and never eaten here. NEVER will we ever come back.

Breakfast goodness allover from the pancakes to the syrup it's done right here down to the last drop!Coming here with my friend after a long night of driving we both needed some much needed breakfast and what more to catch my eye than some blueberry pancakes bacon eggs and sausage as that's just what was good for this given day!The pancakes were yummy with lots of blueberries to make them perfect in what was the breakfast way my bacon was just right as well as the sausage so you know I was happy about that alright!The whole meal was a decent breakfast with some yummy goodness all around and yeah I'm quite picky when it comes to breakfast as I feel I make some of the best at home but this was definitely good too much better than some other breakfast places I've been to in my life.Overall the blueberry pancakes were yummy the service was good and friendly and the whole meal just hit the spot for this given morning! With that said I'm sure I'll get back here again some day as it was what was good on this given day!

The most AMAZING home cooked meal I've had in a very long time! Went there with my daughter, (whom is VERY Picky) and she even loves that place.

Wa were in the area and looking for dinner. Saw this and stopped. They were a healthy amount of people but social distance and masks were around so all was good. Didn't want anything heavy so we ordered salads. We got the Chalet and the Cobb. They make their own blue cheese dressing and ranch. So I got the ranch with my Cobb. Salad was a bit larger than it seemed. I wasn't looking for something huge so it fit the bill. It would have been nice to have some bread or pita with the salad. My partner liked her chalet salad. She thought it was good and enough. Plenty of parking. But the lot is full of pot holes. Be careful and go slow. Server was nice. They were clean. Wore masks. The customers appeared to be regulars. All in all not bad. Just not very memorable and just ok for the food and portions. Not sure I'd go back.

Great food at low prices.I had the American Breakfast. I was with a group of 12 and they handled the service perfectly
