This place charged my card 3 times. Very disappointing and upsetting. Nothing worse than a thief. I opened a tab and closed it out. I checked my account and I had 3 separate charges and on different days.

After spending my money at this place, they threw me out on the street in a blizzard wearing nothing but a hoodie (I had lost my jacket earlier). Uber and lyft was delayed 15 minutes and the staff told my girlfriend and I to go outside in the snowstorm in a threatening way. If I didn't have my phone this seriously would have created a life and death situation for me.This is unfortunate because I was just saying how much I enjoyed the hookah lounge and how the vibe in Cleveland is not threatening like it can be in Chicago where I live. First time visiting the city too. Unfortunate.Please watch out for an overly aggressive security staff with no humanity and take your money elsewhere.

City & East is a very nice place to relax. The Coventry Village area is a fun, vibrant place to visit. I personally like coming here during the week because it is more quiet and easier to just hang out and chill. On the weekends, it becomes more of a party venue, it can be hard to get a seat, and can get very loud. These aren't necessarily bad things, they just mean it can get poppin' (haha). I think both vibes are fun depending on what mood you're in, but the hookah is always very good and so is the service.

Usually I love this place! Never have had a problem until last night. Woke up this morning to see my card was charged an extra $50.00!!!! After I closed my tab, paid, and signed the receipt...extra money was charged to my card & taken out of my account with out my permission. I will be going up there tomorrow since they are closed today & disputing it with my bank. Very disappointed!

Not from Cleveland, but I expected to find a nice place to get drinks & hookah. Very disappointed in this place. I'm only in Cleveland for work. I came here from the Atlanta area. I attended this establishment on a Thursday night. The crowd was nice. But the staff does not allow you to order a hookah unless you have a table reservation. I have neverrrrrr heard of this. Mind you I'm from Atlanta! You are not allowed to order hookah at the bar either. Which is very stupid. I'm not used to this type of treatment. I had a table when I first came here, but the server instructed me to get up & said someone else made a reservation beforehand. Mind you I ordered my hookah before all this happened, so after the fact they cancelled my hookah order. If you're a hookah spot, please uphold to your service that you offer. If not, don't identify yourself as a hookah establishment. If thayd the case, you would allow your customers to order whatever/whenever the circumstances. Please & thank you. Once again I'm from Atlanta, so I am not used to this type of treatment. You are able to order hookah no matter where you are seated in the establishment in the Atlanta area. Please do better! Very disappointed. I've been to way better places.

Just a little story about how I went out to City & East last night. I had wore my scarf, then when I get in there this man named John this bald head guy told me I CAN'T wear my scarf WHICH BY THE WAY IS FOR RELIGIOUS PURPOSES. I have been there a whole bunch of times and now he wants to be racist and tell me I can't come in. I told him I'm Muslim and he looked at me like I was lying. WHEN I TELL YOU I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN

they stealing people card information! charging your card multiple times! I wouldn't step foot in this place again

Walt is the best ever! I literally come here just for him:)... he's so accommodating and great at making drinks and hookah. I make all my friends meet me here so Walt can make our hookah to perfection. Never had any issues.
