Very good food, however we ordered take out as we were staying in a hotel. Baked potato was naked, not even any butter.Also no cutlery even though we asked for it.Asked for sauce and did not get any, no salt and pepper.Too bad, because we really enjoyed the food.

To be fair, as of 12.22.2023 Chops was still in "soft opening" status. It seems they still have some back of house issues to work out.Our service was very good on this Friday evening with the dining room appearing clean and well staffed. The menu has somewhat limited offerings of traditional bar food and some basic dinner entrees. The previous incarnation of Chops had very good BBQ ribs so my wife asked our server's recommendation. Much to our server's credit, she said customers were finding the ribs to be tough 50% of the time. My wife decided to be brave & ordered a 1/2 rack with baked potato & green beans.The ribs were tough, the green beens had a good taste but were cold, and the baked potato was old & hard.I had the pork chops with fries & mac-n-cheese. I had no issues with my meal but it was nothing special.Chops isn't quite ready for prime time but I definitely hope things evolve for the better.__________Fellow Yelpers: If you've read to this point, please take a moment to rate my review. Our server couldn't have acted more annoyed. God for bid you ask a question about the menu or any other specials. Don't bring kids here because they won't be very understanding. Super long wait time for service and food. Took forever to pay our bill. Don't you dare ask the waitress questions or she will act annoyed to answer. Draft beer has zero carbonation. They force of 20% gratuity on parties of six or more. 20% was definitely not earned or warranted in our experience. I'd assume it's only still in business because of some close hotels. If you own or manage this place you better figure out your wait staff before it's too late. I very seldomly write a bad review but this one was earned. When we return to the Geneva area we will not return to this place.

Highly recommend. Food was amazing and very flavorful! Fresh too. My family loved the appetizers that we ordered: fried pickles and pretzel sticks. We also enjoyed the chicken wings, flatbread pizza, and fish tacos. Some of the best fish tacos we have eaten! We ordered both the buffalo and mango habanero wings, both also delicious. The flatbread pizza was light and scrumptious! The food came out very fast. The desert was also delicious. We got three cheesecakes, all amazing, but the peanut butter one was the best!Our server, Marissa, was also amazing! She was very bubbly, friendly, and fast with our food. She was very good about keeping our drinks full, getting sauces, etc. One of the best waiters, if not the best, we have ever had! My family thought very kindly of her.

Went again after the whole soft opening. Only to find out they are still.... Not any better. Food was very bland, service was slow and rude. Dining room was so loud and the chairs are so uncomfortable. We had the ribs again and they were so tuff and server said that's what everyone was saying.

Went for dinner on a Monday. Waited 20 minutes and didn't get acknowledged. Left. Decided to try s few weeks later. Ordered a couple of drinks at the bar and received menus. Waited another 40 minutes while people arrived after and were waited on. Asked a server if we could just order something to go. She said " If you want to order food, it'll be a while because we're busy.". Caught the eye of the bartender and asked for our check. She brought it.... For one vodka martini and a draft beer ..$17.00! I asked why so much she said 'Ypurs was a double!". I didn't order a double!!!! We paid and put the experience behind us along with Chops.

We ate at the "new" Chops in Geneva, Ohio for the first time since it reopened. We were with a large group(16) and the service was just fine. We had 2 servers and they were on top of things. The food is not that great, tho. Our dinners were warm, at best, not hot. But the worst thing was the baked potatoes that several people ordered and were served. I'm not kidding when I say they looked like they had to have been baked last week and then just reheated over and over and over. The skins were charred and wrinkled and the insides were BROWN! The actual "meat" of each potato was cracked from being reheated so many times. I can't believe any chef worth anything would let those potatoes go out to customers!!!!! Obviously, tonight is a one and done for us! Way too expensive for mediocre food.
