They almost KILLED my brother! He has a severe nut allergy and we informed them of this. Two bites into his fried rice he was having a severe allergic reaction, AS IN CAN NOT BREATHE! The restaurant has a legal obligation that they ignored!If you have any allergies, for your own safety, DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!

We've ordered from here before, and it was decent. Tonight I ordered the Sesame Beef ($12.50), and there was no beef to be found. What I got was breaded filling with a few pieces of what look like pork. I've never heard of sesame beef with breading (just google sesame beef). I called to make sure I got the correct order, and they assured me this is how they make it. It tasted nothing like beef. I ate two pieces and threw the rest away.

Ordered around 3pm on a Friday. Overall, I will not be visiting this place again, and can not recommend it.Pros:The lady spoke excellent English and was very polite.It took about 20 min to finish the takeaway order, so fairly quickly.After I called about my messed up ordered, the lady was very quick to tell me I can get another item whenever I liked.Cons:They messed up my order, even though it was marked correctly on the menu.Food:5/5 Crab Rangoon- very good, crispy, filling was very nice and flavorful2/5 Teriyaki beef- good portion size, zero flavor, chewey3/5 Egg drop soup- nice texture, no gooey chunks of egg, but very bland2/5 Shrimp fried rice- good amount of shrimp, but oh so bland2/5 general tso's chicken- good portion of very bland chicken. So so bland.?/5 chicken lo mein- I don't know because I didn't receive this item.

I have discovered that this little take out place has exceptional food. All the food is prepared fresh and may take a little while but the wait is worth it. Hands down the best wonton soup I have ever had. My whole family love it. The downside is limited parking and of course you can't eat the food in the restaurant.

The cold sesame noodles are incredibly delicious!!!!! Will order again!!!Egg rolls nice and crispy Crab rangoons delicious Orange chicken a tad spicy but we liked it!

Best Chinese food in Lorain County! Quick, consistent and love the chopsticks for sale! Service is consistent and professional. The ambiance is cute as there is almost a little store-like feel.

I'm not sure why this place doesn't have a better rating. I tried China star tonight for the first time and I will definitely be coming back! I placed a takeout order over the phone. My food was ready within 15 minutes and the woman who brought out my food was extremely friendly. I can't forget to mention how amazing everything tasted and my order was spot on.

Ordered over $130 of food to be delivered, and did not receive everything. Called to politely let them know some items were missing, and got bitched at by rude owner who proceeded to hang up the phone on my wife. First and last time trying this place. Food was barely average, which made it even more disappointing. Poor quality, and clearly poor owners.

This place definitely deserves a better rating! It is the best fast takeout Chinese place in Avon Lake by a long shot! The food is always super quick and extremely delicious! My favorites include the Egg Drop Soup, Sesame Chicken, and Crab Ragoons! Additionally, the service is top notch and the prices are extremely affordable! If you are looking for Chinese takeout in Avon Lake, this is the place to go!

Food is always fresh! Costumer service is always great. The owners really know how to take care of people so we always come back. The dumplings steamed or fried are delicious with the dumpling sauce. 10/10.
