China Royal Buffet & Take Out

this place is great. good prices, quick service, and a real staple of Girard at this point. their Szechuan options are pretty good, and its always nice to see Mongolian beef on the menu. always fresh and hot!i think you can disregard any of the reviews mentioning their covid procedures. its par for the course in a small town, but it's a real shame to see people still repeating the rhetoric from a couple of years ago. it's too bad they closed the buffet. it must save a lot of food waste, but it was always nice to stop in before grocery shopping. can definitely recommend-- it's not like you can get Chinese food anywhere else out here, but they certainly don't disappoint.

Great variety of popular Chinese entrees. Had Beef with Brocolli and Sweet and Sour Chicken. Excellent. The owners/staff are very friendly and welcoming.

The portions have shrunk like going through the TV on Willie Wonkas Wonkavision. The front end situation is ridiculous. They still have it set up like you are in a state prison and you get your meal through a door like Papillion in jail in French Guiana. There are other friendly normal acting human places to spend my money.

This place is quickly becoming a staple for me. Clean environment, friendly staff, and incredible food. I haven't ordered from, or eaten at the buffet(yet), all my orders have been for take-out only, and the food has been absolutley delicious each and every time! I highly suggest the chicken with garlic sauce (ask for it extra spicy), its fantastic.. another great choice is the general tso's, something about the way this place batters the chicken making it heartier than what I've eaten at other places, its GREAT!... I really wanna make a valiant attempt to order each item off the display board that greets you as you walk in. If you're thinking about expanding your chinese cuisine, I confidently believe that this place would provide you with a great experience... no matter what you'd order.

Only Chinese place I'll eat at. We live 30 minutes away and I'd rather drive all the way there than eat at any other Chinese buffet. Food seems to always be fresh and the lady that's always working in the dining room is right there to fill your drink up within a few minutes of finishing your drink.also they have the best wontons

We've always gotten good food from here. I do worry everytime I order from here because people in the neighborhood said they use cat meat. It tastes so good though!

Ugh. We went close to closing and had the buffet, and now that I read the Yelp reviews someone has already recommended not going late. I suppose if you are going late, ask if you can order from the menu.The buffet was pretty gross when we were there (I think about 8:15 and they close at 9). They had fresh General Tso's but the quality of the chicken was pretty poor (dark, fatty). The crab and cheese rangoons tasted stale and chewy. They brought out "fresh" but they also tasted stale and chewy. Most of the stuff on the buffet looked like it had been there too long. I didn't end up getting sick, so I guess it might have been safe.

Their buffet was disappointing cuz its so small the food was Ok some was good but other was horrible

its really sad because they have all the nessasary things to be very successfulespecially Given the competition in the areaThe problem is in the kitchen nice peoplebut really lacking in technique overly heavyuse of soy sauce .it would be so easy to raise the bar onquality and freshness. , I hope they do it soon or they will be out of business very soon .
