Have been disappointed in their soup, but I decided to give the double stir fry with chicken and shrimp a shot. Who the hell puts breaded chicken nuggets in a stir fry??!! It was awful. The fried rice was oily and bland. Eggroll was basic mass produced, more wrapper than veggies. Just overall terrible. Would give negative stars if possible. They clearly lack pride in their product, use cheap ingredients, and just don't care. SAD!

I had a coupon pop up for grub hub so I decided to be lazy and order in. Chinese sounded good. Since I'm new to the area I didn't know what was around or where to order from. This place popped up in the list so I went with it. I ordered cream cheese won ton, won ton soup (small), chicken curry with rice and almond cookies. The delivery was extremely fast as the guy was here within about 15 minutes from me ordering haha I was outside and he said to me did you order Chinese? I said uh ya. I wasn't expecting them for at least 45 minutes. Anyway its definitely americanized chinese. Not saying that's a bad thing but I guess I'm just spoiled being from the bay area and having tons of authentic places to choose from. The soup flavor wise was good, won ton wrap was too thick and they weren't cooked all the way so they had that gummy taste to them and were super chewy. The cream cheese won ton was Hella bland, it's saving grace was the sweet and sour sauce that came with it. I took a bite of the curry, not bad but be warned it has tons of veggies, some that I've never had in a curry it was odd. The cookies were so stale I thought I was gonna break a tooth. So they get 3 stars for quick service and so so food. I will be looking for other restaurants for when that craving strikes.

Pretty standard Chinese-American food. Ordered the lunch special of sweet and sour chicken, orange chicken, two pork egg rolls and vegetable lo mein. Everything was good. Prices were fair, especially considering the quantity of food. Customer service was great. I ordered online and the staff called to clarify I wanted lo mein, not chow mein which I'd accidently picked when ordering online. She clarified "soft noodle, or crunchy noodle" and made the change. Delivery was much faster than estimated. The delivery driver wore a mask, properly, and kept his distance when dropping off the food. Will be ordering again.

This place was so bad when I first ordered from there last fall and I recently tried again after seeing good reviews on GH. The almond cookies are amazing, they are made in house bc sometimes when I get them they're still warm and still soft. I also love the tofu veggie soup. The crab Rangoon is good also and they give you a lot of sweet and sour. I used to hate their egg rolls, so gross. They are GREATLY improved since the last time.I just simply cannot find a good entree here. It's always just ok. Not spicy enough or the meat is over cooked. I don't know what's up with that.

Sooooo mediocre. To start I ordered the crab rangoons , almond cookies, the general tso's combination dinner w/ shrimp fried rice and a shrimp egg roll. They do give a lot of sweet and sour sauce for the Rangoon's but its not sweet and sour sauce....its more like sour and bland sauce. It was just disgusting. I have never had nasty tasting sweet and sour sauce, but this was awful. The crab Rangoon's were no better. I only ate 1 out of the 8 because it was so disgusting. No flavor what so ever. The almond cookies were really good, you get 3 cookies for 50cent which is really good, but I don't think the restaurant makes them, their store bought. The egg roll tasted bland as well and like it had been in a freezer or some thing too long. The general tso's chicken and shrimp fried rice was good. I definitely won't be back though there was nothing that made me feel like it was wowzers or even really yummy. Big disappointment.

This was my first time ordering from this place & I'm kind of disappointed. Did not receive my sweet & sour sauce for my sweet & sour chicken , the fortune cookies were very stale & my spring roll also seemed old . I don't think I'll be getting food from here again.

Best crab rangoon and pork egg rolls we've found so far in the area. Not sure how they packed so much lo mein into a quart container; seriously there was no room left. Not that I am complaining.Mongolian beef was very good, but geez, can someone make an actual spicy dish spicy???Expect to spend about $10/person here.

I was visiting the area for work and decided to order takeout via GrubHub. I chose China City and wasn't disappointed. While the food wasn't anything incredible or out of the ordinary, it was exactly what I would expect from carryout Chinese food and hit the mark in that respect. What I really appreciated was the timeliness of the order preparation, as well as how hot the food was when it arrived. Additionally, it was not overly greasy and had good flavor. I also appreciated that my order was correct and all elements arrived in my order, something that takeout places sometimes mess up. All in all, China City's food was exactly what I was craving and didn't disappoint. I would say that the quality of the food and service was above average for a restaurant of this type.

This has become one of my GrubHub go-tos, especially considering the pricing. It's quite easy to have a very reasonably-priced order that can fill you up for dinner and still have enough for leftovers for lunch. My standard order is the chicken lo mein combination dinner, which comes served in the same container as pork fried rice. Having them in the same packaging allows the flavors from the lo mein to mix very nicely with the fried rice. The wonton soup has a nice, smooth flavor the pairs nicely with the rice. While I've never been to the physical restaurant, I've yet to have an issue with my delivery order being incorrect. In fact, the last few times I ordered from them, the food actually got here earlier than was originally stated. As such, this will continue to be one of my GrubHub go-tos for the time being.

I am very disappointed in the service. We ordered and waited for an hour and a half for our food and didn't get it. When they called to say they were here they were at the wrong address. Asked the driver if he could come to the right address and told us he had 2 more deliveries to make. I called the restaurant and they started yelling at me. We never got our food and they cancelled our order without telling us. We just got a notification from Grubhub. Overall very angry.
