Chili Peppers

The staff was very friendly, so I appreciated that . I tried this for the first time and did a build my own bowl. The bowl was decent. I would definitely run in there on a day where I don't want to cook, but I also feel like it's nothing to go above and beyond for.The meat was seasoned very well and tender. I got half chicken half steak. I will say I'm normally not a side person, but I really had a taste for some chips and salsa so I ordered some. I was quite disappointed in the salsa. It tasted like watery tomatoes. There was no other kind of flavor. so I just use the chips for my bowl.maybe next time I'll try the guacamole

The only thing that saved this review from being one star was the gentleman that was taking our order and made our food. While he was finishing this older woman came out of the back and was not only so rude to this worker but also to us. She messed up my order and blamed it on the poor man. CAN I MENTION IT WAS HIS FIRST WEEK BACK. Maybe she's in charge because that's how she was acting. But I can promise I won't be back. Food was trash

Neighborhood favorite for burritos, bowls, tacos and lots more! Food is fresh, well prepared and yummy. Service is great and staff is friendly, well trained and super nice. Plus, you can get a dab of guac in your bowl for free!!! Want more guac (it is excellent!) - pay more and get a nice sized serving - but if you just want that little taste .... mmmmm yes please!!

Chili Peppers is a cool tanqueria on E.185th that is well worth the trip. It will remind you quite a bit of the long gone Que Tal that used to be on Coventry a while ago. Occupying two storefronts decorated in warm colors and south of the border decorations you can direct the construction of Burritos, Tacos, Quesidillias or bowls using quality ingredients, similar to the approach used by Chipotle, but with more flavorful results in my opinion. I ordered a vegetable burrito with refried and black beans, rice and the vegetable medley. Of the toppings I would strongly recommend the sauteed onions and the guacamole, both of which are excellent; I also like the chipotle salsa which provides a nice smokey flavor with a good amount of heat. The burrito itself is huge and it is well worth grabbing a bag of the freshly made tortilla chips, nice and crispy with the right amount of salt.Chili Peppers provides a great local alternative to Chipotle, excellent food in large portions at a very reasonable price. If you are near E.185th and feel like getting some good Mexican food, give them a try.

Chili Peppers is on fire! Stopped in after a trip out to Euclid and I was craving some good mexican food. I was sick of chipotle so i was like lets give it a whirl.Upon entering i was a little confused because its really a hole in the wall. The decor is all over the place, grease stains on the wall, teenagers running the counter. But to my pleasant surprise the food was really really good.I had the beef nachos which were packed high and loaded with toppings. I definetly got my moneys worth with this batch. Paired it with a nice lime jarritos and i was good to go.The staff were kind of all over the place, and a little bit annoyed but they were teens so i didnt expect much.The restaurant itself needs a cleanup, there was food on the floors, the windows were filthy, definite health code violations behind the kitchen doors. but hey the food was as good as mexican in cleveland is gonna get so i cant complain much right?all in all you can feed a family of 4 for under $20 which is a win in my book!

Great restaurant. Like a Chipotle or Moe's but better. I usually get a "plate" with rice, beef and veggies. Its great and very reasonable. With a drink and chips its still about $9. Very friendly staff. I go there all the time for lunch. I highly recommend

I should have checked Yelp for their hours. I just walked in and the open sign is still on, but I walked in and the woman behind the counter said "I'm putting my food up. We closed." So much for that.

When I came in they didn't have any chicken left. Keep in mind they were still open for another hour. Their prices are very comparable to the Chipotles and Qdobas. I do like the grilled burrito but it's not worth me seeking another trip out to Chili Peppers. If you're craving a burrito and this is your only option, then yes, I would come here again.

the food is great, the burritos are massive, and the price is quite reasonable.They also have a lovely frequent eaters' program with a punch card, we have filled many. :)

love it good food and you don't have to wait in some crazy line like chipotle so it is a win for me!
