Chen Xing Chinese

My low rating is purely based on the food quality. I'll start by saying that in comparison, I would've been better off buying a frozen meal in the grocery store. I didn't think anyone could mess up on Chinese food but this place did. Not to put too fine a point in it, but I can tell I'm having a hypersensitivity reaction because my blood pressure is skyrocketing, heart pounding, headache, stomach ache, and the inside roof of my mouth is swelling slightly. Not an emergency but this shows me I'm gonna have a rough next couple days. I don't usually react this badly to Chinese food but I do get this with old food or very poor quality food. I'll describe the issues with the dishes themselves, which upon first glance, should've made me stop before I even started --but I wanted to give it a chance. There is an abundance of food coloring in the Orange chicken, which was clearly cooked from frozen and absolutely swimming in sauce. Like it looked a bit like food coloring soup goop with sesame seeds on top. It tasted okay but that was probably the MSG. The fried rice with... chicken? maybe? not sure but supposedly chicken was bland and tasted warmed over. There was hardly any protein in the dish and there was just an exorbitant amount of rice with not much else. Similar story with the baby lobster but those tasted old and fishy, rather than fresh and tasty. These two would be almost indistinguishable if you set a bowl of each in front of anyone and asked "which is which?"The fried wontons were pretty decent but the fillings were odd. The crab Rangoon had some kind of sweet sauce goo inside that was odd. The pork ones were an off-putting sausage filling. They were the 2nd best part of the whole sad meal. First place on flavor and freshness goes to the plain steamed white rice. And the people were nice, so it's a shame their food is such low quality. tl;dr: All in all gross food that is making me feel sick. I'll never eat it again. Do not go here.

Reheated frozen food. Orange chicken tasted like food dye. Was hopeful but I'm disappointed.

This has to be some of the best Chinese takeout I've had! I walked in to order, and the staff were extremely friendly and quick. I had about a 10 minute drive home, and my food was STILL piping hot when I got there. I ordered the General Tso's dinner combo and the Chinese donuts and both were fantastic. Just a heads up: there isn't anywhere to sit down and eat, but the takeout is just as good as getting fresh to the table!

My new favorite Chinese place in the Warren area. I can't believe I've lived here almost 5 years and have just discovered this place. Fresh food, really clean restaurant, and very friendly staff.

This little place made a very nice impression on me.We ordered take out and when I arrived they practiced covid 19 precautions... There was a sealed window to pass your payments and food... probably the best design I have seen... next the take out food was fresh and flavorful..,. We had the coconut shrimp and Kung po chicken...The young family who operated this place are friendly and the place is very clean..,

I love this place. It's the only place in this area I'll order Chinese food from. It's very clean, the people are always very friendly. Food is fresh, hot, and affordable. Great service!

In my humble opinion this is the best Chinese in the area. Feel free to tell me if I'm wrong. Far better than Main Moon or Peng.

This is our second time here. We thought we would give them a second chance. On both visits we were disappointed with our meals. Both visits we had chicken and beef that were limp and slimey and we were not able to eat it. We were also given a lot more rice than meat or vegetables. We will not be returning. We'll return to our Chinese Buffet in Boardman. Much better value for our money.

Decent Chinese food. Nothing amazing, but good enough. Service was fine and food was ready on time. Good enough I'd try it again.
