Chef Rays Cafe

Went there for Easter brunch, where they had a buffet. We had made reservations, so we were seated promptly. It's a small, simple diner where the food was just homestyle dinners, but was pretty good. The service was friendly and attentive; the atmosphere was a lot like being in ones eat-in-kitchen. Nothing fancy at all, but decent overall. Prices were ok, but nothing great. The waitress was really friendly and very good at her job definitely great serviceThe food is way more than you can eat I got the fish sandwich no bun and fries and it made two meals and it was absolutely deliciousIf there was anything bad to say they ran out of lemon slices for the water but definitely worth a visit but go hungry

Fantastic food! Went to the new location on the diamond. On a busy snowy Friday night. The fish sandwich was so good my wife took mine and gave me her food. Fries were good too, nice selection of beers.

Food was decent. Portion sizes were good. Service was atrocious. We had a table of 4 and was able to get one round of refills the entire meal. To conclude dinner, our waitress which we seen all of 3 times brought over a handheld device and instructed us to pay without giving us an itemized bill... When I asked for an itemized bill, she responded "well we aren't supposed to do that." What if an error was made? How do I know I'm not paying for someone else's meal? And guess what, upon getting the itemized bill, it was of course, you guessed it, WRONG.. if I had to grade the food it was a 8/10,9/10 but as mentioned the service was 0/10... wouldn't go back, that's for sure.
