Cheesesteak Whizard Eastlake

At the Eastlake restaurant, I ordered Cheesesteak Whizard's namesake, which was a sandwich that came with a generous helping of steak, grilled onions, sauteed mushrooms, sweet bell peppers, banana peppers, and your choice of cheese (I went with cheese Whiz). You can get a 6-inch or 12-inch sandwich. Since I was hungry, I got the full 12-inch sandwich. In addition, I ordered a half portion of fries and pink lemonade.First, I took a sip of the pink lemonade. It was refreshing and sweet with just a little bit of tartness.The fries came out fresh and hot. They weren't super crispy, but they were well-seasoned - they had enough seasoning that I didn't need to dip them into a vat of ketchup - and weren't soggy.But of course, the star of my lunch was the cheesesteak. The sandwich was a greasy, totally unhealthy, completely delicious delight. There was plenty of tender, juicy steak, and it was smothered in rich cheese Whiz along with fresh flavorful veggies. In spite of all of the juices and grease, the bread managed to hold up well, and my sandwich remained intact with every delicious bite.If you find yourself anywhere near Eastlake, forget the big chain places. The big chain places might offer slightly - emphasis on slightly - cheaper cheesesteaks, but Cheesesteak Whizard offers significantly more - emphasis on significantly - tasty cheesesteaks.

If you're looking for something different than Mr. Hero, then give these guys a try! They have an extensive menu, fast and friendly service. And they've got a few vegetarian selections, mainly eggplant or cheese based. We ordered a classic cheesesteak and an eggplant parmesan sub, along with a side of the loaded mashed potato bites. The subs were hot, fresh and tasty...but those loaded mashed potato bites are what dreams are made of! And I've been dreaming about having more since then! The prices were decent for this day and age. The portions were very filling as well. I absolutely recommend this place!

Have ordered from here several times and they have the cheesesteak sandwich around. It also comes with an insane amount of fries. My second choice would be their Cuban. Their sandwiches will easily feed 2 people. I recommend trying them Their delivery service is great and timely

Yelped this place following a round of evening golf at Manakiki GC. Over 100 varieties to choose from and two able folks greet and serve. The only drawback for me from the steamy hot Philly Cheese steak with Green pepper, American Cheese and onions, was the uncared for seating and in process construction/storage off to the side. I don't think they wished to encourage dining in. But it did nothing to take away the very best Cheesesteak this side of South Philly

Their cheesesteak is good if you like cheese whizz, but they can't make a sandwich to order for the life of them. If you change the cheese or anything they suck! JMO The staff is very inexperienced. The guy that took my order couldn't speak proper English! They have some stuff to work on for sure! A good manager and employee's this place could rock!

Great food, very satisfied with the new location in 44124. It is also very convenient as we are in the same building and can grab lunch at any time!

Went in as she opened and she went right to work on my order. Got the italiano and it was amazing, hot fresh a little gooey. Perfect.

This was great, blew my expectations. I'm back visiting family and wanted a nice sandwich. Came across this place on Yelp thought what do I have to lose? I realized how much I have to gain. This is my new stop when I'm in the area. The service was awesome, beyond pleasant to talk to and the vibes and ambiance are exactly what I was looking for. Down to earth feel good place. Will be back whenever I'm in town.

Best cheese steak sandwich place. Real steak very generous portions. Love that they brought back the bone in wings.
