So happy to have this place in the North Collinwood area. The bartender D, is incredible. She makes delicious, creative cocktails and is super pleasant. I stopped in by myself on a Friday night and the vibes were great. There were several really friendly people sitting at the bar enjoying dinner and a drink. I chatted with just about everyone that I was seated near. I love the neighborhood feel here. The menu is typical of a lounge, with some nice entree options as well as burgers and sandwiches. They were in the process of changing the menu, so things may have changed since I was there. I got the steak salad, which had peaches and blue cheese. Unfortunately, they were out of steak so I swapped it for salmon. The salmon was cooked perfectly and actually paired well with the salad. I also got the mashed potatoes which were super tasty. The decor is cute and modern. There's a large floral wallpaper near the booths and back and the bar is really nice. I got the blackberry deville, which was like a Hennessy cocktail with muddled blackberries. It was so good. I also got their version of a Paloma which had a Prosecco float. It was super creative and different than what I expected, but I enjoyed it a lot. I will definitely be returning and happy to have this as an option in my neighborhood.

Cocktails were 10/10! I tried at least three different drinks from the menu and they were all mixed very well with quality ingredients & potent. The service was great. The bartenders did a great job of suggesting drinks, appetizers, and entrées. The manager made sure to check on us a couple times and even checked with the kitchen to find out if a modification could be made to one of the entrées. Very nice crowd and atmosphere.

went here on Valentine's Day and the staff was amazing. The host was so friendly and accommodating and the rest of the staff was all very professional and kind. We ordered three different appetizers which were all really flavorful! Would definitely recommend it for a date night!

This place was interesting to say the least. My buddy and I took my teenager to Charter House Grille for dinner service. It was a beautiful place with a nice ambiance. The music was a bit loud for the space and lack of crowd in my opinion. So it made conversating at the table a bit uncomfortable. Which I would have loved to have been my only complaint about the establishment. However The food and drinks did not match up to the beauty of the place. We spilt 3 appetizers. We got the shawarma hummus dip which left us with more questions than answers. Shawarma is roasted meat, which there was none of. What we got was a thick and grainy hummus with a heavy amount of cumin. The chips they served with is were both oily and soggy as they had placed them inside of the dip rather than on the side. The tomato salad that accompanied it was both unseasoned and looked as if it had been made with a slapchop. The duck hunt fries were a bit of a let down. The fries themselves were cooked and seasoned. The sauce is described as a "Jameson bearnaise" but it came across more as a broken hollandaise sauce with no taste of Jameson. Our final appetizer was the jumbo confit wings which I'd like to start by saying were not confit nor were they seasoned. They were tough as nails and nowhere as tender as they should have been if a confit cooking technique had actually been used. The 2 sauces that caught our attention did so for the opposite reasons. The Thai coconut sauce was delicious while Sunkist bbq sauce tasted of pure sugar and liquid smoke. The sweetness was beyond off putting. For entrees we also decided to split 3. The Charter House burger was described as a smashburger. I do believe they forgot the smashing aspect of my smash burger as the patty was over half an inch thick and did not have the look or consistency of a burger that had been smashed. The burger was unseasoned and the gherkin aioli tasted more like an unpleasant tartar sauce, almost like a sweet relish. The chicken gnocchi had potential. The gnocchi's were a bit large as well as cold. The chicken was overcooked but it was seasoned. The real issue was the butternut squash sauce. It had a bitterness to it that was unpleasant and quite confusing as you are expecting a sweeter sauce. The herb crusted lamb rack was overcooked and the crust was quite bitter. The vegetables were very unevenly cut which left them unevenly cooked. The asparagus was cold which was quite disappointing. The sauce however was a redeeming quality to the dish as it was quite delicious. The cocktail ordered was over iced and quite diluted which left for a very disappointing Manhattan. The shocking part of the evening was the fact there was a 20% delivery charge on our check. Turns out they have an automated gratitude charge of 20% that was not posted or mentioned anywhere or by anyone until after we asked about the delivery charge on the check. So not only is in mislabeled on the check it's not even posted to notify patrons. The place has potential but the chef seems to lack some technique and focus. If the place is still around in six months I'd be interest to try them again to see what changes they've made.

We just dined at the Charter House Grille for the first time. Wow! The service was great, the food was outstanding, and the ambiance was relaxing and comfortable. I ordered the steak medium. It was perfectly cooked. We never felt rushed to order or eat but we were in and out in under 90 mins. The variety of food offered is spot on. Our server was very friendly and helpful. I hope this restaurant is around for a very long time.

I attended one of the soft openings and the grand opening and I enjoyed my time there very much. I love the ambiance and the decor especially artwork of various album covers in the bathroom. The service each time was pretty swift although I was sitting at the bar. Each bartender that waited on me was very pleasant and made sure I was taken care of the entire night. My new favorite drink is their Blackberry French. I absolutely loved it. I didn't eat much food but I really enjoyed the Philly cheesesteak egg rolls and the dipping sauce was equally delicious. The wings did look absolutely appetizing but next time I visit I will try them. This is definitely a place to hangout after a long day or week since they have daily happy hour specials. I look forward to spending more time at the Charter House Grill.

I took my son for his birthday January 25. Nice place, the decor was very pleasant. He had the pasta, it was delicious and creamy. My daughter in law had the truffle fries, they were very good. I had the beef rib, tender fall off the bone tenderness and the flavor was good. I Liked the specialty drinks. I had the smoky bourbon. It was awesome with the smoke out of the glass. The service was good, my waiter was awesome and very friendly and attentive. The manager made us feel like family. I plan on going back to check out the piano night on Tuesdays. The only drawback was the cotton candy drink. It was too much cotton candy and was very sweet. Overall, it was a pleasant experience for the north side of the Collinwood area.
