Charlotte's Ice Cream

Cute ice cream shop close to the lakeshore. We arrived near sunset on a Sunday after spending some time at the lakeshore. There is plenty of parking and, fortunately, there wasn't a line when we arrived. We checked out the menu, which includes soft serve and scoop ice cream, and made our selections. I chose a two scoop chocolate brownie ice cream cone. It came on a cake cone, though I saw other customers had waffle cones. I wasn't asked which I preferred, but I did enjoy the rich chocolate with bites of brownie throughout!My partner choose a soft serve peanut butter parfait, and our friend choose a soft serve buckeye parfait. Both were happy with their selections. Take a seat at one of the many tables, and enjoy a frosty treat with big band-style music in the background.

Not all bad. Visited and they were understaffed, out of soft serve and I felt bad for them. Maybe someone called off and it's not their fault. Good Icecream but long wait and didn't have what we wanted due to soft serve.

Super cute little shop with very tasty ice cream options. Went for a date but would be perfect for any occasion. Very friendly staff! Very affordable

Another good small place to get ice cream. Charlotte's is always a busy place. It has long been a local favorite in Willoughby. Gets a lot of little league teams here. They have all the typical favorite treats. Good variety of ice cream. It has lots of flavors. There's both soft serve and scoop. Banana splits are also popular. They even have Dole Whip. It can be regular or swirled with vanilla ice cream. You can even get it in a float with pineapple juice like at Disney World. It's about $3 for a medium cup. Prices are kind of high for how much you can get. It also is very popular with the local youth sports leagues in the area. It even has a window just for teams to order at. This can get very crowded with loud bad kids.

Great little place for once cream. Nice seating areas outside that were clean. The ice cream was very good overall. This place is five stars but the woman taking orders was so rude it negatively impacts the experience. Good prices .

Amazing place!! So cute and DELICIOUS!!this a gem to stop by with the kiddos! Very polite owners and cute shop. You can get the best ice cream around and a great price too!! Love this place ! Will def be back soon!

We absolutely adore this ice cream place! One of our top visits in the summer. They always have unique sundaes or parfaits. Everything from unicorn to Cleveland or sports team themed creations! Don't forget the dole whip or dole whip floats. You can even take it home by the pint, quart or gallon. The staff is always very friendly & helpful. I love the quaint outdoor seating - parlor styled. There's a small kid picnic table as well, which our girls love. Definitely one of the fun spots to visit!!

I initially wrote a review on Google and due to an extremely disappointing response from the terribly rude owner I felt compelled to share a review everywhere I can to warn people of how awful she is. The ice cream is fine but the woman working is unpleasant and made me feel like I was inconveniencing her by ordering something. I would hope this isn't charlotte herself... disappointing because the place is very cute and looks inviting.Edit to charlotte since I can't reply to her comment, you huffed and puffed your way up to the window, didn't say hello, I asked how you were doing and you ignored that and said what do you want, I said please and thank you and even tipped you nearly 30% and you never once so much as gave me a smile. I don't think a hello or how are you is asking too much of you considering I am patronizing your business. It's telling that instead of apologizing or trying to rectify the situation that you instantly become defensive and aggressive. Based on the reviews I'm not the only person that thinks you are rude. Charlottes Ice Cream was yummy and classic ice cream everyone loves ! I got the peach sundae !

the lady that served me at the window did not make me feel welcome, the two shakes we ordered were small and were not filled up to the top about a inch down from the top, the small twist cone was not worth the price really small . definitely not worth the money i spent.
