Charlie's Pub & Eatery

This is a fun place where you can eat deliciously prepared food and drink beer and just chill. When we walked in, we ordered at the counter and then sat at a table. Our drinks were ready by the time we paid for our order so we were able to carry them to the table. There is a nice selection of draft beer here. I drank Sam Adams Summer draft it was smooth and delicious. The two of us split a steak salad with curly fries and ranch dressing and a medium pizza. Portion sizes are substantial so come hungry. Food is freshly prepared and the pizza had a good proportion of topping to crust. The salad ingredients were fresh too! Everyone was nice, friendly and helpful. Loved it here and will be back the next time we are in Edinburg.

It's been a while since we've been at Charlie's, In the area decided to stop. Order right as you walk in, food is brought to your table, came out hot. Establishment is clean.

This place is a go to with pizza in Edinboro! I love this places wings and pizza! Would come back!

A really fun place with delicious pizza. They recently changed the recipe but it is still great! It's a very low key place and fun for kids! Popcorn and peanuts are a must appetizer. negatives: the games are ridiculously pricey ($1 for a cup claw game that gives you one mini candy bar ) and not very desirable to play as a result and the tables are very (always) sticky. They really need a deep clean and wipe downs between customers. We scrubbed with hand sanitizer but my napkins still stuck.

OK, I have to admit, this one is probably purely sentimental as their pizza has undoubtedly changed a bit over the years...but it's where I hung out as a teen when they were still around the corner from the bowling alley and beside the movie theater. Nowadays I LOVE their steak salads....cannot be beat!

On one of our "pizza Friday" adventures we ended up here. It was ok. The pizza didn't have much flavor, we couldn't taste the ranch on the ranch flavored wings. The soft drinks are too expensive with no refill. You pay for popcorn that they dump on a tray. I was underwhelmed. It was very blah: food and atmosphere.

Nice place to go to if you are 21+ but have under-agers with you who can't go to the regular bars because it's more of a restaurant than a bar. This is a more family-oriented place with decent food---good pizza and nice specialty drinks. The atmosphere can get a pretty noisy on weekends with the arcade games dinging and the band playing...I get tired of having to yell at my friends.

So we came to Charlie's twice in the past week while visiting from out of state. Our 1st visit was great. Just 5 of us looking for dinner after a long day of traveling. It was so good, in fact we decided to have a small family get together after a funeral of a loved one. So a few nights later 10 of us showed up to find nowhere to accommodate us so we could sit together. (The 1 long table that seats more than 8, had 2 people sitting there, which meant we could not) so we carefully moved a table so we could sit together. Yes, there were signs that says please do not move tables, but we were careful and were going to move it back after we were finished. After we ordered our meals (couple hundred dollars worth) we were rudely told that, the tables are heavy & expensive. That's why you did want them moved. And the "owner" rudely said that is why there is other spots to sit in big groups.... There is one table, and it was taken. So anyways, food was good, but we will not be back because of lack friendliness from owner.Side note...I stood at the bar for about five minutes to inquire about a larger table or moving one but the owner and bartender were too busy socializing with the patrons. Too bad about the rudeness of the owner as the food is good. Perhaps a hostess to seat small parties appropriately would alleviate this from happening to other guests.

I had not been to Uncle Charlie's in awhile and I remember why. When I called in the order I could almost see the woman on the other end roll her eyes as I asked a few questions. She was so clearly annoyed I figured the place must be busy. When I got there to pick up the order it was not busy at all. The family salad I ordered consisted of wilted poor quality lettuce with a few mushrooms right out of the can and some clumps of salami. The pizza also had mushrooms right out of the can and obviously added to the pizza after it had been cooked.Very disappointed.

Ordered a large 4 item pizza to go. I tried to order x cheese as on of the 4 toppings but they wanted $3.50 extra because it was a premium topping. That sort of didn't sit well . Seemed expensive . The toppings were fresh but skimpy on the pepperoni. Honestly it looked good, smelled good but the crust was adequate at best. Overall disappointed!
