Charger Lanes

Dear Yelpers,If you are a bowling officianado, this may not be the best bet for you. But, if you are just looking for a bowling alley to have some fun, you won't find much cheaper. Walking in is a blast from the 70s with the old school lanes and set up. Machines and alley relatively out dated but still gets the job done. Note: their balls don't have weights on them or any type of order so either bring your own or prepare to search the night awayYour friendly neighborhood foodie

An affordable local bowling alley to take the family without breaking the bank. Sometimes understaffed but aren't all places nowadays? Prefer this over AMF on Miller if just for the price.

Place may be outdated but it is clean. Balls are not marked well and shoes are well past their prime. Didn't eat there. Based on other reviews we opted to play then eat later. We bowled two people two games. It took an hour and cost us $18 with the shoe rental. My issue is the person working the counter. Owner maybe? We walked into an almost empty bowling alley and though we were at the counter he did not seem to care that we walked in the door. He eventually faced us and didn't really say much. Seems to care less if he helped us. When we had issues at the lane we weren't sure what to do. I headed back up to the counter since the service button was ignored. While he disagrees about the content of his website with a customer I stood there. The issue she was reporting was something myself saw on his website just prior to coming. Even then he was in no rush to help. It's not a bad place but I don't think he cares if we come.... So I won't.

Why give them anything higher than a 1-star rating when they can't even stay consistent with their business hours? If you are going to close the more than an hour before closing, please just close earlier. It saves the staff unwanted time and it doesn't waste my time if I know they are closed. They are a business like any other, they should probably act like one. This is a consistent thing, too. I'm just getting tired of it now, and decided other people should be aware.

I have gone to Charger lanes a few times for my kids bowling matches and once and only once to try to bowl. The counter staff is very rude and act like you are putting them out by coming to their bowling alley. They keep the games turned off, why I have no clue. Worst of all the ball return will eat your ball.

They told me on the phone they had open lanes. showed up in 20 minutes and they magically had none. they told us they didn't have anymore for the entire night. they responded to my review on Google saying they would have got us in but that wasn't the case.. they told us they were not doing anymore open lanes due to league and reservation. again I'm through trying to support this man. Drug deals in the parking lot place looks like the type to hold these events.

grew up here so it's like my norm. need a better ball selection now a day pretty terribly. decently priced though and fun for kids bday parties

It was so bad I wish I could give you a 0...but that's not possible so I give you A ONE. Walked in here an hour before close and the woman behind the front desk told us that they "close in 30 mins" yet we had called earlier today and they confirmed they were open until 1. The woman then turned her back to us and didn't acknowledge us when we tried to ask questions. After we finally got this biotch's attention, she turned us down and started complaining about how she's already worked 60 hrs this week. over all just so rude and childish. I work in customer service and I'm seriously shocked she felt comfortable acting like that towards a group of teens especially since we were very respectful even after the way she acted towards us. Maybe should've chosen a different place of work if you didn't wanna work until 1 lmao. Killed the vibe completely

Terrible - league bowling they are understaffed and the facility maintenance is non-existent. The few employees that are there do their best to hold it together but every other ball getting stuck or pin machines malfunctioning 5-6 times in a row gets pretty frustrating! Beer is lukewarm, food pretty bad - over or under-cooked - sticky stuff all over the floors...roof has been leaking for years. Do better! We don't have other options. Doesn't make it okay.
