Chardon Tavern & Grill

Very good local tavern with very reasonable prices. I had the Jalapeño Burger and it was very delicious and had fantastic flavor. Pro tip pay in cash and you'll save a bit of money.

This past Saturday was a great day to be sitting on the back patio listening to the Indian's beat Detroit 7-0 in Post Season play! I had the Philly Cheese Steak Flatbread, it was outstanding!. I try to eat the the Chardon Tavern several times a month to support the local restaurants on top of little mountain.

Nice place to enjoy some drinks, good food, and watch a game. They have a full bar, some booth seating, and tables. Spacious and clean setting. Friendly people working. Food was very tasty. Daughter loved her flatbread pizza. We had the tuna melts which were great. The sweet potato tater tots was very good. Service was great. Highly recommend a visit here if you are in the area.

The steak salad I ordered was delicious. I will say that we did have to ask our waitress for everything such as silverware for our salad and ask for refills. This should be stuff that is done without asking. If it was packed I would be more understanding. Our waitress was very polite but silverware and refills are two things that are the most basic. Again, great food and good atmosphere just need to stay on top of things a little better. Other than that I would give this place a second chance as the food was good and not your typical bar food.

Service was excellent. Our waitress was Wendy. She was very attentive and friendly. She was also super busy as she was working the bar too. Wings were excellent, had the Talladega sauce. Also the wife had the Rueben. It was very good as well, had to sample it. We will be back.

I spent many years at the old Chardon Beverage. This nothing like the old place, but still a good stop. Food is very good along with the service. It would be nice if it was a little bigger, but still worth stopping in for a drink or two and a meal.

Good food and music but the staff is rude including the manager Lori. It's a shame they treat customers like a nuisance.

Food was good until I came home and got sick. Also when I walked in to find a table because there's no hostess area, a waitress pushed passed me and the manager Lori is a B. I was also told by numerous acquaintances as well that she is rude.

Terrible service and food! After taking the order we never saw the waitress again! The fried mushrooms were still frozen and I had to go get the waitress to fix the problem. When the cook brought them back there was half a basket. We don't know what happened to the rest of them! We also got a cheeseburger which we ordered medium rare-the burger was raw! Again, the waitress never came back to check on us and no one cleared our table. I had to go to the bar to get our check. Disappointing because we thought it was a cute place!

So looking forward to a fish fry - don't waste your money. Ended up throwing them in the trash - not eating them. (we never do this) The fish was overcooked and tough Not good at all :-(So disappointing
