I was in the area so I stopped by! Love cha li's. Prob my fave boba shops in cle. They're always so friendly and the menu has a wide range of options from milk tea, slushes, to fruit teas. They also have a case of yummy desserts! I always order two drinks, fresh jasmine milk tea and a peach or lychee fruit tea. Their main location is in stow which is closer to where I live. But this location is beautifully designed!! I love the modern design in this space. Also, there's parking out back so it's easily accessible.

Great boba place! I'm always looking for one when I travel and this one is worth the stop. Love the interior. Tea is made fresh. We got the milk tea and taro milk tea with tapioca pearls and both were amazing! Did 50% sugar and maybe could've done lower. Best taro I've tried in a long time. Milk tea is creamier than others. The employees and family owners are kind and care about their customers. The one thing they should do is start one in my city!!

Cha Li in Shaker Heights is a fantastic spot to relax, study, or hang out with friends. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxing, making it perfect for any occasion. Their extensive menu offers a wide variety of options to suit all tastes. The service is excellent--friendly and attentive staff. I particularly enjoyed my mango pomelo sago, which was refreshingly balanced and not overly sweet. Plus, its location right next to the library makes it incredibly convenient for a quick break or a study session. I would definitely go again!

I like this place! Everyone is very nice and they have a large assortment of teas. It's on the corner of a busy street and parking in front is always full so you might have better luck parking on the side streets.

After traversing through Cincinnati, Dayton, Columbus, and half of Cleveland without finding any great boba, we were desperate for a good drink. We actually came upon Chali by chance while driving through Shaker Heights to another destination. I went to the shop's website and after finding most of the menu given in Chinese (with English in smaller font), my anticipation rose. We weren't able to make it there until 30 minutes before closing but luckily they still had what we wanted available for purchase. We found the interior to be pretty well appointed, with inviting tables and decor. There are light board games located in the back to play and there are plenty of tables to accommodate a good number of parties. The shop seems like a great place to hang out for a while as you drink. As we perused the menu, we found multiple varieties of teas available, including da hong pao and tieguanyin, a rarity in American boba shops. This place seems to be serious about the quality of the teas they brew (at least for boba). They also offer several different toppings that I haven't seen before (oats?) that give additional variety over other places. As with all new-to-us boba shops, we got the house special/signature. We wanted to get more, but we were too full from dinner and it was a bit too late for too much additional caffeine. Signature Milk Tea, 50% Sweet, Less Ice, Large w/ Boba ($6.25) - The drink is creamy with a bit of dairy milkiness, and the sweetness at 50% is pretty well balanced with the tea and milk. It looks like they use Horizon milk, although they also give you the option to substitute with plant based milks. The tea flavor comes through and leaves a bit of a tannic coating on the teeth and palate. Overall the taste is quite nice. Chali uses golden boba instead of the more common black boba. It's cooked pretty much perfectly, with a very nice chew that keeps bouncing back as you continue biting into each pearl. The drink as a whole is among the best I've had in the Midwest and is easily in the top 5 of the 75+ boba shops I've visited over the last year. (5/5)Chali is somewhere I'd easily recommend anyone go to for good boba. They have a good variety of teas and toppings that allows you to get a new drink every time and not get tired.

Great spot to grab boba. They had many options on their menu including milk alternatives which was nice. There is street parking available. We were able to find a spot right outside the store. The person at the counter was very helpful in describing their drinks and giving recommendations. Would definitely come back to try more drinks

Cha Li is the BEST boba in Cleveland! The shop is really cute and is great for studying or meet ups. They offer non-dairy milk and you can adjust the sweetness of drinks. The staff is always kind and welcoming, definitely recommend!

Fantastic bubble teas! We went here multiple times while visiting Cleveland. I tried the brown sugar and black milk bubble teas and they were 10/10. My kids tried the strawberry mojito bubble tea with popping boba and strawberry and mango fruit slush with popping boba. Everyone loved their drinks! They have delicious desserts too (we tried mochi and macarons). Both were delicious. Service was fantastic, bathrooms were clean, and the space is fun! Highly recommend trying out and we'll be back again next time we visit!

The best boba in the Northeast Ohio area for sure, but pretty expensive. The inside of the shop is clean and the workers are very nice. The mango pomelo sago and passion mango tea are worth trying. Average drink price is $5.50-$7.00.
