If you want to just hang out at a local bar and maybe run into some people you know, this is the place. I have no idea if they serve food, but I will tell you it's cash only so come prepared.

I've been coming to this place for years, and it is very special and unique. It's an excellent value as far as food and drinks, and they have music Friday, Saturday, Sundays (jam night) and Wednesdays, with early Friday and Saturday shows outside at 5:30 or 6, weather permitting, and a band inside and ready to roll when the outside band is done. On almost any day you'll find a range of ages that spans 60 or more years, with it being mostly young or mostly older depending on the music that night, but there's always a mix.The place has a cool, laid-back vibe and the customers do too. The bartenders are all awesome, cute, friendly, and hard-working.The bar often supports local fundraising efforts providing food to all. They also decorate for every holiday. It's family owned with a family atmosphere. They have developed their outdoor area and have a wood-burning stove in the mostly closed in section as well as a fire pit in the open area. Pooches are welcome which adds to the cool atmosphere. it's large enough where you don't normally feel cramped - unless it's one of those unusual nights where it's packed, which can also be fun. One of a kind place.

Really great people and very cheap. Blues jam with Alan Greene on Sunday is not to be missed. Good chance of seeing Donny Baker blow your mind for way too small a cover.

This place is absolutely incredible! The bartenders are super friendly. Great drinks that are very well priced. Awesome atmosphere and if you go during the week you can hear some awesome stories. Would absolutely recommend!

If you are a musician I would stay far away from this place as the owner has ripped off musicians in the past. Some of the bartenders are good at what they do, but some of the others are usually inebriated themselves and getting any type of service is definitely out of the question. From what I was told they recently were busted for serving alcohol to minors! Also, you will occasionally see people lighting-up cigarettes right at the bar. I thought that smoking in public places was banned in the state of Ohio? Are not both of the previously stated a smart move on their behalf! (Being facetious here)I will never step foot in this place again, and once again if you are a musician, beware of getting your hard-earned pay at the end of the night! - CR -

I tell you what, there isn't shi* when it comes to a good band bar in this area but Cebar's does it well. I really enjoy it every time I come here. Last time was with a friend and we went to see a Bruce Springsteen cover band, great time!!! Bartenders were all over my orders (helps to be 6'1 I guess), people were of all ages, no one overly drunk, just a bunch of weekenders out to have a good time and that's exactly what I did.I hear the food is not bad and they do run specials. It just might be a little weird the way its laid out the nights of music to go there and eat. I'd much rather recommend hitting Bistro 185 or Grovewood Tavern first, maybe even Beachland Bistro, then hit Cebar's on your way home. Watch out for wild Cougars though, I hear not only do they bite at Cebar's, but they also swallow. ;) Oh yeah...it might be CASH ONLY, just be prepared.....there is a PNC right next door though.

First time patron; came for the live music (late!) on a Sunday night. Pick-up jam session featured very credible musicians who had obviously played together many times in the past. An enjoyable, low-key vibe -- local folks, some "regulars," hanging out at a comfortable neighborhood bar. Some people were dancing on the small dance floor, and my friend and I also danced a bit (badly, but nobody seemed to care or stare).Drinks moderately priced, pours generous, and food "hand made" by Heather in the kitchen at the back of the bar (place your order with Heather personally at the kitchen door) was very tasty.

Going down hill fast.Don't even bother going on a weekday if it's after 8PM, they'll be closed. Except maybe on wing day, Tuesday. The wings are good, but the cook can have a bit of an attitude depending on how drunk he is.The crowd starts early in the evening with what I guess are the regulars, the older crowd. Around 9 it starts to change to the younger people, and they're hit or miss. Sometimes it's a friendly bunch playing cornhole or darts, other times it's a bunch of people looking to fight, or ramble about how the government is corrupt (bring your tinfoil hat!). Lately, they've been letting in the local saggy pants hoods, so that's really a big turn off.Weekends are a bit different. During the days you'll catch a crowd of good people watching sports, and as it shifts to night, they bring in a band around 9 or 10. The bands are usually good too. Especially BLUES JAM night on Sundays. This used to be an anchor in the neighborhood. A place where all the VASJ alum could kick back and have a few drinks. But over the past 2-3 years, it's turning, just like the rest of the neighborhood. Sad.

Cebars is a really cool place. food is pretty decent to and the drinks are pretty cheap. There is one bartender that really knows how to make a drink. I think her name is Deanna, She has dark hair and very pretty with a nice size rack. When she is wearing those black leggings that show off her beautiful camel toe she always gets a nice tip from me.

There aren't any main level restrooms for people who can't use the stairs to go downstairs to the restrooms. Cebars is in bad need of new bsr stools.
