Cathy's Ice Cream

Very few ice cream places have indoor seating, so this is certainly a plus, especially on these steamy hot days. There is a private parking lot with plenty of parking.Although there are lots of ice cream choices, I found the handwritten menu boards difficult to read. Also, the hard ice cream had lids on them, so you couldn't see the flavors, just the names of them. I settled on a twist soft serve as I wasn't all that hungry. No sugar cones, so I was a bit disappointed. The ice cream was decent, and the size was ample.

Trust me, I know my ice cream places and this is a good one. There is plenty of parking and the inside seating is the size of a fast food restaurant. The selection is broad and deep, with all of the items that you expect. However, the menu is a mess. Everything is handwritten on whiteboard placed on a wall above and behind the counter. While this may be considered quaint and homey, the item descriptions are a challenge to read and can be a little confusing.Having said this , I thoroughly enjoyed my PB/Chocolate milkshake. It was thick and very flavorful. Prices are very reasonable.I very glad that this place is not closer to my home, as I would have a serious diet and dietary problem.

I LOVE this place!! So cute and clean. I recommend the pineapple Dole whip when they have it. It is amazing!!

They now take credit cards... Ice cream here is still amazing ... And there handmade ice cream sandwiches are totally nostalgic!

Please do not waste your time here. They measure their ice cream scoops. And the manager is very rude.

Ice cream is great, but customer service is horrible. Attendants get annoyed with customers and changes.
