Fast and friendly service. They really know their seafood! The only place in town I could find fresh Mahi and Wahoo. Both were excellent! I'm not going to tell you it's a great place to hang out, because the fish smell is always strong in a fish market - But you will leave with a smile.

Stumbled upon this market after driving an hour to the Westside Market, only to find out the fish market inside didn't have what I was looking for. Headed there with low expectations but figured it was worth a shot since it was just a few minutes away from the market. Once inside, a friendly associate asked what I needed help with. Told him I was looking for mahi and he said "we're out up here but let me check the back". A few minutes later, he makes his way up to the counter with a large mahi in hand. He skinned and deboned it right there for me and sent me on my way.The price and quality of the fish were both amazing!! My only regret is that I didn't buy more when I was there. I'll definitely be back!

Great place located on the West Bank of the Flats! During COVID this place saved us as they started to bring in more West Side Market style items, on top of their premium selection of seafood! We love buying muscles, lobster, Alaskan king crab, and much more from here. They also have different types of cheeses and seasonings. It is a great spot and we have been going here at least 1x per month for the last 2 years. We also buy things from here for special family dinners - Father's Day / birthdays so we can cook at home and have Pier W quality ingredients ;)

Came here for fish for sushi and came away confident in their operation. The place doesn't smell fishy at all and everything looked fresh. The staff were friendly and seemed like they handled the fish cleanly. Nothing is pre-cut and packaged so it's all processed to order. The tuna was particularly beautiful with a nice rich red color and melt-in-your-mouth texture, it ended up making delicious sushi and sashimi. I think the place could be organized and labeled a little better and the enforcement of guests wearing masks could be stricter but otherwise no other complaints. I would definitely come back here again for my next sushi-making endeavor.

Staff is super friendly and helpful. My first time in and my first time attempting to smoke fish (went with Chilean sea bass). Can't wait to taste this!The sea bass was exceptional in the smoker. Starting with a great fillet was key. I put a light coating of sea salt, garlic powder, and hot Hungarian paprika on about an hour before. Charcoal and apple wood chunks were used. The smoker was higher than normal- near 300 for most of the hour and half cook time. This was for 3+ lb fillet.

This place is small but well stocked. The staff member was so great with answering my questions and pointing me to which fish would suit my needs. I got some wagyu and frozen soft shell crab too! They have a nice fresh selection of fish and scallops, shrimp, a few dips, and a frozen selection ranging from alligator and lobster meats to chowders, wagyu, sardines, smoked trout, and more. Not overly expensive at all.

I love this place, they have the best fresh seafood. I go for the snow crab legs. Great selection! Made cioppino with clams, scallops, shrimp and crab. Everything was so fresh and delicious!

Hidden gem in Cleveland! If you love seafood, definitely check this place out. We miss all the great sushi restaurant of Chicago (Cleveland is seriously lacking), and we regularly go to Catanese for sushi grade fish to have sashimi at home. They've often gone in the back to cut a big fresh piece for us (evident by the massive size of tuna they bring back with them!)Tip: They have a counter at the Westside Market, but those are retail prices. Come to this location to get the wholesale prices!

Wonderful fish market located in the flats. They have everything not just what's in the case. Just ask the friendly employees who are very helpful and knowledgeable. The fish is fresh and they carry items that you just can't find elsewhere. The retail area is just a fraction of this rather large operation and has been here forever.

Best middleneck clams I've ever had. Tender, clean and tasty. Changed my order 24 hours in advance and they accommodated me with no problems. Would highly recommend this business.
