Caribbean Delight

The oxtails were nothing but bones,little bones with no meat.Total waste of money.The cabbage was good,but they should be ashamed for serving those little pieces of meatless bones to the customer.My first and last time at this spot

So I consider this sort of food as comfort food. We got the jerk chicken meal, with sauce. The spice blend was so flavorful and the rice and peas were hearty and delicious. The pickled warm cabbage goes great with the chicken and rice. I got the wings and Mac and cheese special as well. I didn't care for the wings, too fatty for my liking but my boyfriend liked them. The max and cheese was very cheesy. I should've put some hot sauce on it but it was great. I wanted plantains but the woman working told me they would take ten minutes and I could tell she didn't feel like making them. So I'll get them next time when we both aren't in a rush. Very low key, authentic spot. You go in, order and leave.

This restaurant is arguably terrible in an extremely terrible neighborhood. Very low quality offering -- Caribbean food like jerk chicken and etc. is known for being very well seasoned maybe even sometimes spicy, this is the first Caribbean restaurant ever went to where the food was bland especially the rice. This is not a number one pick and they're way too few reviewers that should be your first warning.

Their soup in Saturdays is the best! Food overall is a 7-9 from Jamaicans point of view. I just wish they made Jamaican fried chicken. Jamaican restaurants in cleveland are slipping on that. MAKE FRIED CHICKEN!!!!

Best jerk chicken around. Spicy. I like to put it on everything but not for everyone. Full of flavor. Cabbage is perfect. I will say I have had better curry although it's good, but the jerk is so much better.

The food was delicious and the service was great!!!Had the curry chicken and the jerk chicken, both were incredible

In all honesty the customer service could of been better it was mostly the no explanation of the sides for the meats and some older lady in a bonnet. walked away as I was tryna figure out what she was putting in my boxes was it cabbage? or just greens? (It was cabbage) and I still order more idk if she was on the phone but most definitely a language Barrier maybe that was it lol idk why she just walked away from me a little rude menus need re done and and they need to wear uniforms at least safe kitchen wear so I don't think there doing unsafe practices none the less I still have them a try Moving forward I got a small curry chicken, a small Stew chicken and a small jerk chicken and Two medium Oxtails and three Beef Pattie's and 1 pre package corn bread for the portion and the price was good I can't complain All around 65 dollars The chicken was dry in the jerk and and not at all spicy as warned could of been spicer The oxtails had so much fat on it and tasted so bland I rather go to ire kitchenThe stew chicken and curry was the best but still mediocre over all this place gets a Two from me hanging on the thread that the beef patty carried this whole order me and my friends ate

Best Jamaican in the city in my opinion. Never had a issue. Love the jerk chicken and oxtail. Only issue is I hate their hours. Wish they were open later and on Sundays.

Northeast Ohio is good for a lot of varieties of food I'm a butt Jamaican food is not one of them. I went to Irie Jamaican Kitchen in Akron and there were no people of color in the kitchen or behind the counter. I asked a customer, "How's the food" his response, "Not that bad."That was not a ringing endorsement so I walked out.I went to Caribbean Delight in Northfield and this was what I was hoping to see in Akron. Actual Jamaicans in the kitchen and ringing endorsements from the customers.I got the number five curry goat with rice and beans and an extra piece of jerk chicken. The flavor and portions were on point. If you are ever in Northfield, stop by Caribbean Delight and you will be delighted. This is how I expect Caribbean food to taste. Curry goat was very tender

No seating. Take out only. Fantastic. Authentic Jamaican with huge portions for fair price. Very tasty. I got the jerk chicken which is SPICY.This is my lunch AND dinner!
