Great diner food, great prices, great service and the owner is the best! Both locations are super!

I woke up early and by the crack of dawn, I was absolutely starving and wanted more than just a bagel. I have a busy day ahead and probably won't have time to stop for lunch until much later in the afternoon. I wanted something close to the hotel and was open at 7 AM on a Saturday. Canary's came up and had some pretty good reviews.Walking in, the place was busy, but mostly with senior citizens. I was seated in the back section and eventually my waitress came with a menu. I was hoping for more breakfast options, but the selection was rather slim. I ended up going with 2 eggs, hash browns and it came with either two slabs of bacon (which I don't eat) or gyro meat. Ok, random but whatever.The food eventually came out and I did request tzatziki sauce for the gyro meat. She did run it out and the meat was good, but very random for a breakfast meal?Food and service was good, but I'm not in love with this place. It's not bad I'm just not a fan!

In for lunch today and went with the Mexican omelette. The food comes out so fast here it's almost as if they know what your going to order before you do. Waitresses are awesome and always around for refills or anything needed.

Good Lord, how am I just discovering this place. Easy to see why parking lot was packed. Phenomenal homemade soup, got breakfast for lunch, also fantastic. Super fast service, seemed faster than fast food! Not sure how they did it!

The food is fresh, well prepared and plentiful! The servers are always on the ball, and the ambiance was that of an older mom & pop diner.

The restaurant is clean and everyone is friendly. The service is very good, but I had the worst meal on Dec 19th. I had the chicken Paprikash which wasn't Paprikash. The gravy was some sort of red chicken and cheese sauce. There was absolutely no sour cream or Paprika in this dish. The chicken was a piece of very over cooked fried breaded chicken. If you love chicken paprikash DO NOT order it here.

The food was good and so was the service. My only complaint is they give you a sloppily handwritten and unreadable check after you're done eating. My advise would be when ordering check the price in the menu and verify it with the total on the check. Add up the cost of what you're ordering before you pay what that sloppy unreadable check they hand you after you're done. ‍

Service was Good. Only problem was the menu. Owner claims he owned it for over 4 years. The menu is not very descriptive. If you type in chicken Parmesan on google Thier is no meat sauce I don't eat red meat. I was expecting just the sauce not the meat sauce. I only eat chicken I still paid for the food to give to my dog. He tried to compare his recipes to Olive Garden and such but if I owned a restaurant I would have better description on my menu that it comes with red meat instead of chicken. That is an insult for someone that worships the cows also. Instead of not seeing my view of things he could have listened to me and it would have made his business Better. Customer is always right. It's not what owner liked it's about the consumer. And his friends sit at the middle table and stare at you while you eat. Also I don't eat pork or if would have chose another option. Also I noticed the generic Mountain Dew they used instead of the real Mountain Dew do they can save money on pop. Other than that it was a good place I paid and left a tip even though I didn't finish my food because I am not a complete ignorant person I still have respect. If you need any pointers on a better business I will be more than glad to help improve. Little things like that people will take disrespectful don't trick people on your menu. Printout new menus with better descriptions on what you are trying to feed the customers because at first I was about to make them remake my food but I don't want my food getting spit on or tampered with I paid left tip. Let me know if you want me to come back and give some pointers.

This is the first time I've been to this restaurant. The decision was very difficult on the menu. I went with the beef philly and fries. I have no regrets I would definitely come back again. I just wish the had a location in Sagamore Hills close to home
