Food is always hot, filling and delicious. I had a bowl of navy bean soup which was delicious!Service is quick and the restaurant is clean and warm (lots of restaurants are not warm).

This turned out to be a great stop! We were simply just looking for a place to enjoy a good brunch on the way from Cleveland back to Cincinnati. We got off the freeway and after and after about a miles drive, we came upon this little gem. It's very old fashioned and everyone was extremely friendly. It very much took us back to the way things were back in the day! I thoroughly enjoyed their Mexican skillet that had all of the good flavorings. It needed a bit of hot sauce though but that's because I like things very spicy. My boyfriend had their breakfast of champions and as you can see from the picture, he got everything he wanted. Everything tasted really good and the service was great. Definitely five stars and definitely glad to support a local, non-chain business for the first time in a while!

The food is very good and the price is reasonable and the staff is accommodating. There is also banquet rooms.

Just had dinner at Canary's Family Restaurant. Was it bad ? No-was it great-No. It was adequate and hit the spot. I ordered the Fisherman's Platter and must say the French Fries were very good. The wife ordered the spaghetti and meatballs which Is her go to when in doubt about a restaurant. If your on the posh side of life ( like the wife)you may just want to take a pass on this place. I for one thought it was good and just plane ol American dining. So stop on in and support the little guy. You may not be disappointed.

Breakfast specials for $4.79 with a caffeinated drink...how can you pass that up! The restaurant was set up with social distancing, plenty of disinfectant and masks worn by all! Fast passed service by experienced waitresses with a smile, well worth the drive. I must admit I love a cheap greasy breakfast.

Perfect little dive diner. The food comes out so fast, it's surprising every time. Nothing fancy but that's perfect for a cheap, classic breakfast.

Great quick lunch today at Canary's. Sausage and cheese with a side of sausage gravy over the top. Food came quick! Attentive servers Great work.

Food is good. Service is good. So my buddy and I have been meeting up once a month or so for breakfast here maybe the last three years. Sometimes the waitresses recognize us and let us know that one or the other of us is already there. So we get there at 9:30 am today and long about 11:00 am the owner comes around and asked us to wrap up our breakfast because he has customers waiting. So we comply and immediately end our breakfast and head to the cashier. There we find not a single customer waiting, and we look around and see a few empty tables. Our total bill was over $28. So what's the deal with this guy? What an a_ _. So of course we will not be returning ever.

First, the taste of grease is off-putting. They need to change that. Also, they are not out to make customers happy. I am not saying the service is bad, they are super strict about menu changes, coupon usage and outside beverages. For instance, I like earl grey tea, most restaurants don't serve that and they don't care if I bring some with me ....not here. All could be overlooked if the food was better... It wasn't

Food is decent, staff are courteous, but the dishwasher should be fired. My fork was covered in egg. The waitress went ro grab another and walked it back. She found a clean one. The other girl who poured the coffee noticed that my coffee cup had residue coffee stains. She went to get me another cup. It had residue as well, just not as much.
