CAMY’s Caribbean Mart & Eatery

We were so excited when we saw this spot! We stopped in to browse and they have all of our favorite seasonings. There was a great selection of choices and some brands that we haven't tried before.They have spices, marinades, sauces, bread, drinks, snacks, beauty products and more for sale in the store. They also have different hot many items you can order.We had already eaten dinner, so we opted to try the beef patty as an after dinner snack and it was excellent. Crispy on the outside, hot and flavorful on the inside.When we're in town again we'll be stopping by to try more of their menu.

Our daughter was in town for the holiday and wanted Jamaican food, so I suggested CAMY's. What a great meal for all of us - Curry Chicken, Oxtails, and Jerk Chicken. All were perfectly spiced, hot, and served with plenty of cabbage and rice. I'm not an oxtail person, but I tasted a few of my wife's tails and I might get them for me the next time. They were perfectly cooked, tender, large portions, and flavorful. We'll definitely be back and I might even get the oxtails!!!

Great food, awesome store, and great people running the place, this is all around an awesome place dishing out super flavorful Caribbean food with tons of heart and soul put into it. The oxtail was fall off the bone tender, had great seasoning, and was paired with sweet plantains, perfectly cooked rice and beans that were full of great flavor, and the cabbage still had a little bite to it while still being very tender and a nice contrast with the rest of the meal. The jerk chicken patty was amazing, savory and spicy filling in the perfectly baked dough, and considering the great portions they give you, it's a good price for everything. Also I definitely recommend getting a side of jerk sauce with whatever you get here, it's the best sauce! Love shopping in the market too, they have tons of great stuff to take home, definitely will be back!

Excellent location and a very large selection of carribean spices, foods and drinks. Nice staff you must try this place if you want a carribean market vibe.

This new hot spot in Lyndhurst is a must visit. I stopped in for a quick bite to eat and I was blown away by its Jamaican authenticity. They had all types of grocery items directly from Jamaica along with original Jamaican cuisine. The greeter was so nice and friendly. My food came out within 15 minutes because it's made fresh. The veggie patty was packed with flavor and so delish. The store has a beautiful mural of Bob Marley and a small eating area. I plan to come back and try more items from the menu.

Fantastic dishes. The care taken into their preparation is at the highest level, master chef level. What looks normal isn't. This is a gem for authentic jamaïcain food.

Excellent Jamaican food and customer service. The staff is always kind and accommodating and the food is always fresh, delicious and authentic. Portions are generous and the food is packed with flavor! In my experience the cabbage at Jamaican restaurants is typically lack luster, but not here. The patty's are all very good but the curry chicken one is my favorite! I think my favorite entree is oxtail; they cook them to tender perfection and the gravy is perfect.

Delicious food, and lots of it! We always call ahead and it's hot and ready when they say it will be. We always recommend people go here. So tasty!

My boyfriend and I ordered curry chicken dinners. It wasn't enough chicken to complete 2 dinners so I did half curry half jerk. Both were terribly bland. He also had coco bread it tasted like a stale hamburger bun. So disappointed . We had some jar jerk season at home tried to doctor it this is by far the worse Jamaican food I've ever had.

So glad I found this place. Right next to Sam Ash. Jamaican beef patties Chill vibe. My new happy place
