Calypso's Restaurant

Aside from the long wait after calling ahead, the food was good. I ordered a steak philly with fries and the portions and price perfectly matched. The sandwich wasn't running over with meat or greasy which was kind of disappointing, but it was still good. I was told the phillies used to be loaded and sloppy (a great thing) which now makes me want the original experience.I would definitely go again, but I would order an hour in advance.

I love there food. The wait may be long, even if you call ahead, but it is all, and I do mean all worth it.

Customer service was horrible! Our order was phoned in and my co-worker was told it would be 20 minutes to have our orders of 2 perch dinners and 1 chicken philly ready. After arriving 30 minutes later at Calypsos, my co-worker had to wait an additional 20 minutes. When we opened our lunch, the perch in one dinner was waaaaay overcooked and the chicken philly had no onions, peppers, mushrooms, very little chicken and NO cheese. The philly was swimming in mayonnaise. My co-worker called Calypsos to complain about the philly and was told by a male employee to return. When she did the employee looked at the sandwich and accused her of eating all the chicken out of the sandwich and refused her another sandwich or her money back. Why would someone leave work, drive 20 minutes back to an establishment for an $8.00 sandwich just to try and scam someone?It probably doesn't matter to the owner/employees at Calypsos, but they have lost 3 very good customers just because they are ignorant, unprofessional and have no regard for their customers or pride in their product.

Hadn't been there in 16 years(moved to Florida) ordered walleye and catfish dinner and knew it was gonna take a minute, came back 30 minutes later my order was hot and ready, food was very good.

Horrible service I was told my order will be ready in 20 minutes. It took an hour later for me to get my food. They have a no refund policy so you have to wait for your food. I asked for extra seasoning nothing was seasoned. This establishment has really gone downhill. They need to bring Jose back as the cook. Customer service and quality of food has gone down drastically.

12 small wing dings for $11! That's ridiculous especially because the price of wings have decreased tremendously! This is robbery!

Obviously any other comments they say they are good are fake THE TRUTH: Calypso's on 140th do not taste the same and their customer services was about worst than the wings #neveragain Do not waste your time everybody complains about the rudeness it's sad as a people we got to do better don't spend your money here you will be disappointed

The food is decent. The customer service is terrible. The girl in the window is very rude, not polite, never smiles, unprofessional. She does not understand the importance of customer service and being the first person you see when you come in plays a role in your business. If she is taking orders I go elsewhere.

This place used to be really good. the prices were decent but now its horrible, I will not eat here again. They never want to here their food in not right they argue with you and they are very rude. I had their food thursday and been sick since.
