I recently purchased a Piece of Pepperoni Pizza, a Pint of Vitamin D Milk, and a Dozen Chocolate Fudge Squares. All delicious. This is a sweet place. Unique.

Callihan's is a corner store out in the country town of Nova. If you're a hunting enthusiast, you'll enjoy the inner decor, if you're not however, you'll be disgusted by all the deer heads, and mummified animals adorning the walls. If you'd like to fill up your tank with gas, be expected to pay classic country out of towner prices, raised by at least a quarter. I mean I suppose there's a few cool things about the place like it's home made food items, it's little pizza selection, and ice cream bar, but it's the employees, or at least the ones we encountered who ruin this place for what it is. The amount of rudeness was unparalleled, and for no reason at all leaving us confused. Maybe you're judged if you're not parked outside in a lifted truck, strutting in wearing nothing but neon orange and Realtree camouflage overalls.

I am a local and can't say enough good things about this store. I also worked here for a time and loved every minute of it. One of the cleanest places I have ever worked in. Owners are wonderful people. As a customer I have learned that any staff memeber that has not been pleasant and helpful usually don't stay around long. Negativity doesn't last long in a positive atmosphere. Among some of the expected but good fried style foods Callihans also makes some awsome selections of homemade meals. Their burgers are my favorite. I also can't get out of there without ordering JoJo's. Yes the gas pricing are higher then going into the city but that is the same anywhere in the country. Paying 20 cents more per gallon is worth it to support a local respectful business. Yes they do have a lot of animal mounts on the walls but that is the charm of the country.

I live close and frequent this Store quite often and take offense to Derek's remarks. As you can tell by the pictures He must have visited the Store at or close to closing time. But if the Refrigerated section was CLEAN and empty and you were hungry all you had to do was ask and they would have gladly made you something. I have called for a Pizza 10 minutes to closing and they made it,,So Derek don't assume anything by the coolers being nice and clean that they wouldn't have fed you!!! We don't all drive supped up trucks and wear overall's (( only those REAL MEN who Hunt and work there Farm's to help put food on YOUR and thousands of others Table every night!!! ))) I wonder have you ever been to a store or any other establishment that was getting ready to close for the day?? Was it clean and food or other items put away?? Maybe you just aren't used to cleanliness?? SO VERY SORRY BUT OUR LITTLE TOWN IS!! I work in Cleveland don't wear Boots and Overalls and I drive a Chrysler 300 but I do have a Truck for bad weather. So good luck on your Travels and Next time your passing by Remember to KEEP GOING!!! lol

Callihan's Corner Store may be in a small community, but the selections are pretty big. Quick bite to eat? They've got you covered. Wine or beer to go? They've got that too. They've also got all the staples you will ever need if you just need camping or hunting supplies or just to stock your own refrigerator or pantry. Did I mention gas? Yep - they've even gotcha covered there. If you live in Nova or near Nova, you know these folks do a great service for the community. But if you aren't in the community but find yourself passing through, just stop and check them out. You will NOT be disappointed.
