The food is superb here. This is why my wife and I come back. Our favorites are the Seafood Linguine and Charred Rib Steak as well as the hummus and pita and lamb. The service at the bar here is mediocre, at best, considering the rest of the environment feels a little more appreciating. It has gone downhill within the past year or two which is why we stopped visiting with friends. We visited twice in two weeks to see if it improved. Once, it was just the two of us and another couple and this past weekend when it was slightly busier. It was the same bartender that was always disappearing to the back, hard to get drinks filled and seemed aloof and inexpert to her guests. We can't recall her name. Red hair and jumpy. Seemed like a fish out of water. We really enjoyed Sherry when we would visit but were told she left the establishment because of the owner and staff. We may be back to dine in the restaurant area but the bar here needs work and adequately staffed with appropriate bartenders. We felt sorry to see the decline in business. If the owner wants to contact me, I'll give more details of the visit.

My husband and I have been regular occupants here for several years now. We dine about 1-2 times a month and joined friends this past Sunday for lunch. The food was delicious, as always, but the manager, Anne left me feeling very uncomfortable. I've been in the restaurant before and how I've heard her speak to her employees and other guests has sometimes been disturbing. We had the pleasure of having Abby as our server, who was doing a great job. We overheard Anne belittling her and questioning her for how she was serving tables including ours. We then watched and overheard her do the same with other servers working and watched as she was on top of them as they were at tables. I've witnessed her touch several guests as well which feels unpleasant, It felt very uncomfortable to try and get through a meal with not only our server coming to the table to ensure everything was correct but then to have Anne at the table frequently as well. We said no to refills to Abby only to have Anne come around and fill our glasses. Please allow your servers to take care of their guests. I attended a bridal shower here recently where this same manager was belittling her employees, hounding the host and seemed to demand her own wants and needs for the shower. I don't ever like to leave negative feedback but someone should know how this manager is treating the servers and making tables feel. It's unacceptable.

The food was good and reasonably priced. Our server, Vanessa, was great. We had our drink order taken very promptly. She continuously updated us, refilled drinks and offered additional service. The big fail point was the kitchen. It took about a half hour to get our grilled octopus for our appetizer. It took almost an hour to get our entrees. I ordered salmon Benedict and whomever cooked my dish made the biggest error you can make with eggs Benedict: overcooked the poached eggs. They remedied this about 10 to 15 minutes later and fortunately was tasty. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt and hoped that those who remarked about the service lacking was wrong. I don't know what was or wasn't going on in the kitchen. For a Sunday afternoon and not being very busy, it really shouldn't have taken that long.

We ate there last night with 5 others. We each had an outstanding meal and our waitress, Destiny, was terrific. The menu offered several walleye specials. We had 3 different kinds, Fried, Francaise and Picatta. Were delicious.

My husband and I have been to this restaurant many times: I feel it may be our last. In the past we have enjoyed their 3 course meals. He always gets the pork chops and I get the Haddock with greens. Yesterdays dinner was worse than the time my husband got meat binder twine mixed in with his mashed potatoes. Even though they did nothing to apologize for the error, we returned. But this time I need to vent.Starting with his Pork Chops. Is it enough to say we brought most of them home in a doggy bag. After smelling them while I was chopping them up , for the dog, I decided to throw them away. There was no seasoning on anything he had. On to my meal: I had the worse greens I have ever had. They tasted like they had been boiled in water, no seasoning at all, then dumped on my plate. The fish was ok.Lastly, we waited for 20- 25 minutes from the time we finished our main meal until we got our dessert. REALLY PEOPLE!! $64 dollars later . . . I wish I had gone to the Hot Dog Shop. We tipped our waitress, in her defense she had no control over having a reserved party of 15-20 people and being given other tables. There were a couple "supervisors " walking around who could have stepped up to help her but they did not.

Had brunch at 1:00. Wife had eggs benedict, I had spaghetti and meatballs. Both very good. Eggs benedict was kiiller. Menu had a lot to choose from. Definitely would go back. Nice atmosphere.
