Camille B. "I saw someone post their tiramisu martini and thought that would be a delicious way to end the year so I decided to eat dinner here on New Year's Eve. I got there a little after four to be the New Year's Eve chaos.I got the tiramisu martini and the the chimichurri steak frites The martini was absolutely delicious it's $15 but I do think it's worth the price. I would definitely have one again. The chimichurri steak frites was pretty good flavor wise. I was a little disappointed because my food was not very hot at all. It was pretty Room tip, but I was super hungry and didn't want to take the chance of them reheating it and over cooking my steak so I ate it as is, which is why it only got four stars. I also got a slice of lemon cream cake to go I wish it was a little more tart It was pretty sweet. It also was frozen in the middle so that was a little disappointing"

Michelle O. "We have come here for Christmas Eve dinner for the last 4 years. And every time we have received very good service. The staff is top notch. The menu this year looks like it has been pared down a bit. Which is fine. Sometimes too many choices is confusing. This year we got 2 prime sandwiches and chicken piccata. Sandwiches were good. The bread could be a bit heartier. It falls apart in the au jus easily. The piccata was good as well. We got side salads in stead of fries and the salads were very good. I liked the dressing. Cost wise you're going to pay $15 and up for any thing. The ambiance is dark. I could hardly see the menu. I know we want mood lighting but it's flipping dark. Plus we were seated in a booth by the windows and cold air from the outside was coming in. Brrrrr. Lots of people enjoying themselves. Our server was a bit slow this year. Did't ask us if she could get more drinks or anything. Lots of people but we made reservations. And overall it is a good experience. Just a few nit picks."

My eggplant Parmesan was the best thing I've ever tasted. The texture of the eggplant and the freshness of the sauce was perfect. My boyfriend raved about the chicken and pesto pizza and the potato soup. The fried green tomatoes had an aioli that was delicious and paired well with the cheese. My only complaint is that I would've liked more tomato for the amount of cheese. Service was perfect. The presentation of the menu by our waitress was concise and she was very attentive. It has an amazing wine selection, great appetizers (the whipped feta dip is to die for and the charcuterie board is fantastic), fantastic salads (the strawberry salad. . OMG) and wonderful pizzas! (KEVIN BACON!) They also happen to have the best patio in the area. It is well shaded and covered from the sun but has a fantastic breeze that hits just right. The patio is well decorated and looks lovely. That being said, I am not really a fan of their brunch. I got crab benedict and for as much as I paid for it, I got practically hard boiled eggs instead of poached. It was awful. I had to send back the eggs and the rest of the food was cold by the time I got the eggs back."

There were 7 of us and the staff was so amazing in accommodating us just walking in. We got a table on the patio which was even better for us who were visiting from Florida & Arizona to enjoy the August Ohio weather. Our server knew the menu backwards and forwards and was able to make some great recommendation. Everyone loved their meals from the steak to short ribs to burger and a couple of salads but the highlight was the lobster loaded tots. You could literally eat these for every meal and be happy. I would definitely recommend checking them out."

Todd G. "Deciding to venture out of our Hamlet and explore other places to celebrate occasions we happened to have different by this place a few times and given that it was busy almost constantly so much that they had to have valet parking I thought was a good sign. It was not. For my wife's birthday we decided to visit Flour kitchen. We wisely made a reservation and showed up on time. We were able to find a parking spot and therefore did not take advantage of the valet. They were a few hostesses and one of them saw us to our table. While we were promised that a server would be right with us, they were not. For a long time. Almost to the point where you have to awkwardly start waving your hands in desperation to try to get someone to pay attention to you. As it was my wife's birthday we decided to bring a small chocolate cake to celebrate with after since we were unclear whether or not they had any desserts. We did not see any so that was probably a good call. When we finally got somebody to show up to our table she seemed more annoyed than anything. Which is the perfect attitude you want when approaching a table. I ordered a bottle of Pellegrino while my wife got a martini and my son got a Coke. Fortunately we were brought some bread because it would be a while until we saw our server again. When she did come back my son ordered the ribeye steak. I got the chicken parmesan and my wife got the salmon. It didn't take forever for the food to come out. In fact our server did not come back and check on us but the highlight of our meal was the high school kid who was the food runner as he was able to go back and grab a steak knife and a missing condiment. The kid was actually pretty cool and polite. While my son enjoyed the ribeye he destroyed it. My chicken parmesan was unremarkable at best. Pasta was cooked fine and the chicken was pretty greasy. My wife didn't really care for her salmon. What I wanted to do was bring in the chocolate cake and have a little birthday celebration with my wife and son but again our server was nowhere to be found. When she finally did show up we put the whole chocolate cake idea on the back burner and just wanted to leave. The bill was well over a hundred bucks and I couldn't wait to get out of there. I don't know what all the talk about this place was but it certainly did not live up to any of my expectations. We ended up going home and celebrating the rest of her birthday with the chocolate cake in the house. I don't expect to return to this place."

Mark R. "Timber Lodge is a delightful, reliable "old school" steakhouse with a great bar and wine list. I've been coming here for the past three to four years, and I've never been disappointed. I really enjoy their prime rib, but their other cuts of meat are also really well prepared. The design and décor of the dining rooms remind me of those my dad used to take me to as a kid in the 70s. Actually, it hearkens back even further - probably to my grandparents' generation. Anyway, it generates a pleasant, nostalgic ambiance - the booths in the bar area and in the main dining room are really cool, ask for one if you can get them. It's also a lot of fun at the bar, and the ladies tending it are lovely and provide great service. My only gripe, and it's not really that big of a deal - I've learned to "slow down" a bit and be a little more patient than I was pre-pandemic - is the fact you can never reserve a table on Friday and Saturday nights and you might have to wait for an hour or more during those times. You can also not order take out then, so if you get an urge for their prime rib on a weekend night be prepared to wait for your table. On the other hand, if you do wait, you'll be well rewarded because it is pretty close to certain that your meal is going to be fantastic."

Ive been here multiple times and it has never disappointed in any aspect. I would also call the restaurant in advance for a reservation.Food: All the food here is amazing. From the roasted duck which had crispy skin and a juicy inside, seasoned to perfection to the amazing seafood risotto that was so filling and fresh. The food just doesn't miss. I have had their sautéed calamari which is wonderful with the bread they give complementary. Everything tastes so fresh and flavorful. The portion size is great and leaves you filled and it comes at respectable prices. Service: Amazing service. The restaurant is on the smaller size so seating is limited, but because of that you pretty much have attentive staff open to helping you at all times. In addition to the restaurant being smaller, the setting is much more intimate as it has dimmed lights and a bar on the side. The staff is kind and very informative of the menu and special too. Overall: I would come here everyday if I could. One or the best restaurants in Cleveland from my experience. I would come here for special occasions/ dates or if you're craving amazing food."

Initially, I was seated at a table in the dining room, but after being passed over a few times by the waitstaff, I decided to move to the bar. The bartender was incredibly accommodating and crafted a refreshing lavender lemonade cocktail upon my request. It was delicious--perfectly balanced with a subtle floral note. For my meal, I ordered the steak with mashed potatoes and asparagus, & Caesar salad. Everything was cooked to perfection; the steak was tender and flavorful, and the sides complemented it well. However, I did try the Mexican corn, and after just a couple of bites, I couldn't continue. I wouldn't recommend it. By the time I finished my meal and drink, I was so full that I didn't have room for dessert, but I did take the tiramisu home. It was decadently rich and definitely worth the takeout. While the service could have been better, the food and drinks were top-notch, making it a solid choice for a hearty meal with great cocktails. We've been to a couple other places in chagrin falls but never here and we've heard some good things about it. It looks like it was an old house that was converted into a restaurant and bar. Overlooking the top of the falls it's quite picturesque. We were able to park in the parking garage and secure the spot it was pretty tight but the parking was free so you can't complain about that! Our friends are already there and we were seated promptly. The seating was also pretty tight and although my back was to it there was a large party right behind me. The server was not as Hasty with the drinks and she probably could have been because we just sat there staring at each other wondering where she got off to. I was drinking sparkling water and split a bottle with my friend's wife so we were okay but it would seem that those that were drinking beverages that would have required a trip to the bar had to wait a little bit longer.. We got two appetizers one of them I recall was the minas cheese and the other was Franco passerino. A chicken dish of some sort. For my entree I ordered Feijoada; this is from what I understand a stew that they used to serve to prisoners which includes ham bacon beef pork kielbasa and served with rice collard greens was actually pretty darn good so much so that I couldn't finish it.. the ladies ended up getting a steak dish and a fish dish but I couldn't tell you what they were I was focused on mine. Because the tables were so small a lot of restaurants end up putting a lot of unnecessary crap on the tables like table tents candles and the such. When our server returned I asked her to remove the candle to which she proceeded to drop it and it landed on me spilling the content of the candle on my Polo sweater. Neat. Also landed on my hand but to my surprise it was just a warm oil it wasn't wax. It didn't hurt in any way but the only thing that her was the fact that my multiple attempts to launder the oil out of my Polo sweater ended in failure. I wish the table was just a little bit bigger and to make the experience a little better maybe a little more tension from the server because she spent the majority of her time with the big party behind us. While I get it and understand that big parties are demanding we spent in unusual amount of time waiting on our server. Lose a star for that"

We booked reservations for 6:00 for dinner. Prior to arriving, we had scoped out the menu, and it looked almost like a prix fixe situation, however our server advised we could order whatever we wanted. Seeing as that we wanted to try everything, we started off with ALL the appetizers. I must mention that upon arrival, if you are staying in a "Club Level" accommodation, you have access to a small plate and wine of your choosing. We chose the Roasted Pork Belly, with Bread/Butter pickles, cold braised red cabbage, sweet mustard, on grilled bread. It was to die for!For appetizers, we got the Littleneck Clams, which are stuffed with pork belly, slivered garlic, shallots, lemon, white wine, parsley, and croutons. 7/10!Fried calamari, which is served with olives, capers, sun dried tomatoes, basil, and lemon/herb mayo. This was great! 8/10!Prior to apps, we received the bread course. This was our absolute favorite. I had the crispy duck salad, which was every bit as good as it sounds.Entree round! My wife had the crispy salmon, which again I didn't snag a photo of, but I did taste and it was fantastic. "To start, I wanted to note I came with a big group, which I know typically makes things a bit more complicated at restaurants. We all ordered at the same time, however, the food came out at veryyyy different times. It also seemed that it was dependent on what was ordered. For example, everyone who ordered salads and pastas got their meals first. Then about 10+ minutes later, the pizzas and meatball sandwiches came out. It was a bit disappointing considering we expected to eat together, but by the time we got our meals, the rest of the families plates had already been cleared since they had a bigger jump start on eating. Also, we ordered appetizers but those came out with the meals, not before. Which was a bummer, again considering we wanted to have something to eat together. Given the area, it's attached to a hotel, well priced, and brekky was better than I would've guessed ... kinda brings up the stars to a 4. But if rating strictly for food, atmosphere and overall experience then barely a 3, but maybe had an off day? Hubby is a Diamond Doubletree member so brekky is comp, and I wasn't expecting much. We came down around 930 and every seat was taken including a group of 40 in the back. They were not staffed for the breakfast rush. In fact, we waited 20-25 mins before anyone acknowledged us or that we (and a few other groups) were even waiting. Seated after 35 mins, a table near us waited 20 mins to get coffee/water and the lady leaving when we were seated told us worst breakfast ever, ice cold when delivered then never saw anyone again. Now our experience wasn't as bad. Once seated and the large groups left, service was better. A bit slow but the food was ok.
