"While going through my reviews, I was shocked and dismayed that I had never posted a review of the Original location of Bob's Hamburg. This place is an Akron institution, and everyone should check it out. Now, I was going to post an update to my review due to a recent visit when I discovered I had never reviewed it, so I'll just tell you about that experience. I stopped in with my six year old after going to the zoo recently. It's perfect for a zoo trip, I think it's less than a five minute drive. It was a bit of an odd time, and we ended up having the restaurant to ourselves. We sat at the bar, and my son ordered a root beer (Bob's own label), a hot dog and fries. I ordered a Bob's Double Cheeseburger with everything, and a side of onion rings. It had been a while since I had been there, and I honestly don't think I've taken my son before. When we pulled in he said it doesn't look special. I told him it's iconic and a throw back, which I don't think he understood. So we are seated at the bar, and I'll say he thought it was pretty cool that he could watch our food being cooked like 4 feet away. He LOVED the hot dog, it's big, I think a quarter pound. He's usually pretty picky on fries, but he ate quite a bit of them, then wanted to take them home, lol. Now on to my food. If you've never had a Bob's Burger before, you are missing out. They are smashed and griddled and just delicious! An Everything is Onion, Pickle, Lettuce, Bob's Sauce, which is like this tomatoey, relishy thin sauce with a bit of tang to it, and Stray Dog mustard. Boy, the combination of the sauce and mustard, with the crunch of the veg and the gooey cheese and smashed, well seasoned patties is just about perfect in my opinion. Certainly a great burger, one of the best in the area imo. And the onion rings are just amazing! Hand battered per order, fried and crunchy, the onion is soft. Without a doubt my favorite in the area!I would be remiss too to not mention the staff. Our waitress was amazing, talking to my kid, asking him questions, just being so nice to him. There were several other people that worked there that came out and talked to him too. It was great! And when we left, my son couldn't quit talking about how special that place was after all!"

"My wife was hungry for a waffle and oddly enough she doesn't like waffle house. I looked on Google for places that have waffles and this place came up with good reviews. When we got their we sat right away and the server came over almost immediately. Our food came out fast and hot. My wife said her waffle was amazing, crunchy outside and soft in the middle. I will definitely be back to this place, I highly recommend it."

We eat breakfast here a few days on every trip to Akron, and the food is always cooked perfectly to order (not always the case with eggs!), deliciously fresh, and served with just the right balance of friendliness and sarcasm. My dad is a regular with an unhealthy level of sarcasm, so you may not get any sarcasm, but he deserves it! Ha! Dad always gets the He-Man, which is a great value if you're hungry or sharing. We recently ate lunch there, and WOW! My burger and onion rings were top-tier delicious, my husband's gyro with extra meat was slapping, and Mom loved her fried fish, coleslaw, and stuffed pepper soup. 10/10 recommend!!"

"I don't know where to start... Customer service was a 10/10The food was piping hot , MADE TO ORDER. So grab a seat and vibe with the others waiting!Now the food‍‍‍The stuffed waffle had some type of whipped cream on it that will end wars! The waffle was crisp but tender and also very well seasoned. The strawberries were FRESH and cold so they complemented and brought the entire dish together. The sandwich was a home run. Tender waffle , crispy chicken , right amount of cheese and the syrup !I can't wait to see what this place grows into. Its so nice to have a decent , clean brunch spot that's comfortable !!"

"Wow...this was arguably one of the best meals out I have had in a long time. Be ready to wait. The line is long at times.The waffle was not disgusting sweet. It was more on the savory side, and paired well with whatever you put on it. I chose apples, caramel, and whipped cream. The rest of the meal was just as good too. "My husband is so picky about waffles, and he loved these. That's five stars for me right there! My eggs, bacon, toast, potatoes meal was delicious as well. I'm a sucker for the waffle art on the ceiling, and I liked being able to see the world go by in Highland Square outside the big glass windows. Even though we went on a weekday morning that wasn't particularly busy, it took us a little while to be greeted and seated. Nevertheless, it was worth it."

For the first time we ordered from Urban Kitchen and the meal was EXTRAORDINARY!My guests had a hamburger and a lamb burger and both found them to be well prepared, very tasty, and generous. "Stopped in for some bubble tea on a rainy Thursday night and this place was bright and cheerful inside! The decor is really cute and welcoming and the service was amazing. They have a pretty wide variety of offerings so I took my time deciding and finally landed on dragonfruit tea (no milk) with added crystal boba. I asked if I could adjust the sweetness to half sweet and the girl behind the counter was super friendly...she even let me taste it before finishing the drink to make sure it was a good sweetness level for me! The tea itself was pretty tasty but I didn't care for the boba...it had kind of a weird flavor that didn't seem quite normal to me. That said, with the great service and atmosphere I would go back and try something else without that. Thank you, Milk N' Tea!"

"We were happy to accidentally discover this boba house on their grand opening day! Everyone was so cheery and welcoming and the Thai tea and mango fruit boba teas were absolutely delicious and refreshing.They have a pretty good selection of teas, milkshakes, bubble slushies and bubble waffles, plus there were games and cards available--a great place to hang out with family or friends.When we left, a very young woman (maybe an older teen) saw us with our boba teas and politely stopped us to ask where we got them. "I came back to C's today for lunch, and decided to have a C's Deluxe Burger this time. They have a nice selection of burgers to choose from. This one has sauteed mushrooms and bacon and two kinds of cheese. I also had them top my burger with a slice of tomato. Delicious ! Their burgers come with your choice of French fries or onion rings. I chose the onion rings today. They were very good, and made from batter dipped real rings of onion... not chopped up and formed like other restaurants. Tip: their iced tea is fresh brewed and not out of a soft drink tap."
