"I like to try different Vietnamese food spots while I'm traveling. Ordered through UberEats so pho broth was a little lukewarm upon arrival but not a problem. Broth lacks depth and could use a little bit more flavor. My issue is with the banh mi sandwiches, paid extra for extra toppings which did not come on the sandwich and was pretty stale. Read that this was a comment occurance within other orders as well. Would not recommend the tofu banh mi as it is just fried tofu with no extra seasoning so it was super hard and bland."
"Vietnamese restaurant attached to Hampton Inn, the entrance is around the corner of the hotel. GPS might route you to the main entrance and you'll see a sign but you'll have to walk towards the hotel entrance. Although it's ground floor, the inside feels like a basement and the decor is basic and outdated. The service was good, everyone was friendly and quick. The food was good, we all got pho and some spring rolls. Spring rolls were nice and crispy and well stuffed. The noodles were basic and didn't have different sized bowls, but instead you can add noodles. Broth was ok. I would give service a 4, ambiance a 2, and food a 3.5."

"Outstanding food!Just like being in Hong Kong Flavors, ambiance it's all legit and delicious!"
"This is a rough one and I might be overly critical on this. We went this evening and there was a healthy crowd. Nice to see. Not a large place but it fit everyone and it has a bar with bar seats as well. Plenty of parking. Prices are pretty good. I ordered the beef pho. Just the basic. They brought over a fresh plate of cilantro, jalapeños, lime, and pea shoots. We also got the pork spring rolls. They were good. The pho was just OK. It wasn't very hot. I do like the temperature of any soup to be super hot. The steak was fine, I thought the rest the noddles be veggies were very skimpy. I could have used more. But they must feel it is a fair portion for the cost. I also got a Bahn mi sandwich and it was very small. It tasted ok. But the portion was small. It is literally a 4 bite sandwich. The service was good. Atmosphere was nice with soft music. And the time the food came out was good. I just thought it was skimpy. I wanted more. Our bill came to $61 with our dinners and I feel kinda ripped off. It was good just not enough."
"This was my first time at this restaurant. I was a part of a big party and I was able to sample different appetizers. The lettuce wraps and the grape leaf that was filled with meat and spices was very tasty. My entree was so salty. I asked about the sauce and was told it was a barbecue type sauce. When it arrived, the sauce was a salty gravy that I had to doctor up to make edible. The staff was mostly attentive but two people returned their dishes and asked to get a replacement. Our server never returned to take their replacement order so they just sat and watched us eat. I might try them again again but only if I am already downtown. I would try another Vietnamese restaurant first."
"What a gem. Simple Vietnamese fare - with a focus on fresh lemongrass and ginger flavors. The menu also carries some basic Chinese dishes. I ordered the vegetable fried rolls and could taste the fresh veg/herbs in them. Two to an order, and they were so good I ordered another round during the meal. Excellent summer rolls with shrimp and peanut sauce. Our table had an excellent chicken pho; shrimp with scallions, ginger and steamed broccoli; and the vermicelli bun with chicken ginger and fried onions. I am looking forward to returning as you can order their vermicelli bun one of three ways: ginger/fried onions; lemongrass; or curry. As good as the food was - service is the standout. Staff greeted a number of regulars at tables or take out orders knowing what their orders would be without having to bring menus. Even though it was our first time we received the same warmth and familiarity."
"Went here on a double date to grab some pho on a nice summer day. My partner and I split the pho with beef brisket (my favorite cut for pho) and the pork Banh mi. I started with the pho, and after adding a touch of lime and hoisin sauce, I was so happy to be eating such a yummy dish. It's not too heavy and the noodles and meat were juicy and delicious. However, my favorite was the Banh mi. The pork was moist, the pickled radish was the perfect balance of sweet and tart, and the bread was SO good. I literally kept raving about the bread to my friends at the table. If I could buy a basket of just the bread, I would have. The place itself is just simple and clean. There seems to be good street parking. Service was quick and fine.Overall, would definitely come back, especially for the Banh mi.Like other reviews have said, I'm quite surprised at the lower rating since I thought it was pretty great!"
"A friend of mine stated that we would be having Pho & Rice for dinner. I thought that it was an odd combination but didn't put much into it after that. It wasn't until we were all together that I realized we were getting takeout from somewhere and that Pho & Rice was the name of the restaurant. We came in on a pretty snow heavy day so there weren't many customers inside. The staff was kind, accommodating, and overall had everything ready to go pretty quickly. I had the Vietnamese Sandwich (Bahn-Mi), which they allowed me to sub the pork out with tofu. It was pretty tasty. I'm not sure what my friends had but I do know that they enjoyed their meals, as well."
"This place is one of our favs, period!Appetizer:You have to and I mean it should be law, get the tteokbokki! This stuff will legit change your life.We also love the bok choy.Any of the dishes I have had are great. I usually settle on the japchae with shrimp, so so good!My wife loves the drunken noodles.Their portions are awesome, prices are great and the atmosphere is super fun!"

One of my favorite places to eat. The owner Chris and his wife are amazing and they have the art of Pho, down to a science, literally, his wife is a chemical engineer. Food is always good no matter what time of year or time of day. The new homemade teas are really good too. The pork chop is to die for and the spring rolls are delicious. But can't go to Pho without having Pho10/10

Working downtown again. Visited Pho Thang with a coworker for lunch because I recall the food being good. We were promptly greeted and seated. On this visit, I requested one of my favorites - vegetable fried rice along with some fresh garden rolls.A short time passed and our meals were delivered. They were hot and looked amazing. The fresh garden rolls were tasty. They were sticky and yummy, but they did not have any shrimp in them. Next time, I'll order the shrimp variety. The peanut sauce didn't have a bold flavor. My veggie fried rice was amazing. Loved it!The only issue I have is no refills were provided. In fact, I don't think I've ever received a refill here, which means I need to make sure I get the server's attention on future visits. Great food!

We had a nice dinner at bowl of Pho. It was fairly quiet when we first arrived but quickly picked up. The Pho Chay was great and my husband enjoyed the tofu crepe scramble. I was delighted to have bubble tea here too!Orlando was our server and did a great job! We will definitely come back sometime.

I came here for a quick dinner with a friend before we saw another friend of ours perform downtown. Upon arrival, we realized there was a Cavs game because downtown was packed. The restaurant filled up, but service was quick and friendly. The owner and his wife were very active in the dining room, checking up on customers and helping to clear tables and bring out food. My friend and I both ordered the bún vermicelli; a bowl with thin rice noodles, bean sprouts, chopped lettuce, picked carrot/daikon, sliced cucumbers, a sweet house vinaigrette, and your choice of protein/tofu/spring rolls. I ordered mine with the veggie spring rolls, my friend ordered his with the charbroiled pork. I was blown away by how delicious and flavorful this dish was. The portions were big, and although I usually box up a good part of my meal, I finished this in record time. I even ordered the same dish to-go so I could have it the next day. Great service, very affordable, amazing authentic Vietnamese cuisine...I would highly recommend and can't wait to go again to try more of the menu. Oh and they validate parking if you use the E 4th valet service. I paid 50$ cash to park due to the Cavs game. But with my validated ticket, I was refunded 40$ when I picked up my car!

Really delicious pho and spring rolls. This little gem is a locally owned and authentic Vietnamese restaurant. The owners came out and spoke with us too. They were so personable. Great experience.

This was my third time eating at No. 1 Pho and my sixth time overall enjoying their delicious Vietnamese soup.I'm a huge Pho fan and this is the ABSOLUTE best in Cleveland.I've had the beef, the meatball, and the chicken. On my lastest visit on June 30, 2024, I ordered the chicken Pho along with two crispy springrolls.First, the springrolls were nothing special. They were exactly what I expected. The Pho, as always, was the star of the show and was very enjoyable. While the service is a bit awkward, not uncommon at some of the Asian restaurants due to a number of factors, it was quick and we were in and out within 20-25 minutes. Some Pho restaurants use substandard chicken. I can't even adequately describe what I've run into at other places. At one, it's almost like a rubbery chicken version of an oyster cracker. At others, the chicken is chewy or overcooked. At No. 1 Pho, the chicken chunks are real. They're delicious and perfectly cooked. If you're looking for great Pho, the name doesn't lie. No. 1 Pho is the best.

Located in the heart of Coventry is one of my favorite Vietnamese restaurants. Pho & Rice has some of the best pho in the city. On a recent visit I enjoyed the Pho Dac Biet and Fried Gyoza. The flavors were so delicious. We received really good service and our food came out right away. The ambiance is very relaxing which is great for dine in experiences. Everything was cooked to my liking and it was a wonderful lunch date!

"Pho LV, where the interior might not win any design awards (think dingy chic), but the food? Oh honey, it's a culinary masterpiece that makes up for the lackluster surroundings tenfold! Seriously, if you're looking for ambiance, you might want to bring your own fairy lights. But once you taste the broth, you'll forget all about the decor.Let's talk about that broth. It's like a spicy hug in a bowl. Authentic, flavorful, and just the right amount of kick--it's the kind of broth that makes you want to dance in your seat. They've got a menu packed with options that'll make your taste buds do backflips: vermicelli, pork, chicken, and even a vegetarian chicken pho that's so good, you might just convert to plant-based eating (but no promises!).Now, here's where I go full-on fangirl: their chili garlic sauce is my all-time favorite thing in the universe. I swear it's made with love (and maybe a touch of magic). Drizzle that on anything, and you're in for a flavor explosion! And don't even get me started on the meatballs in the pho--out of sight, out of this world!Pro tip: always ask for extra noodles and pickled onions. Trust me, the more mint, bean sprouts, and jalapeños you can pile in there, the better. Add a splash of Sriracha, and you've got yourself a symphony in your mouth! And let's not forget about their house tea. I can't quite figure out if it's green tea or jasmine, but either way, it's the perfect refreshing complement to your meal. It's like a warm blanket for your insides, especially on a cold or rainy day.Best part? You won't experience sticker shock when the bill comes! Pho LV proves that deliciousness doesn't have to break the bank. So if you're in the mood for some soul-soothing, authentic pho, grab a friend (or two), and head on over. You won't regret it!"
"Phnom Penh is one our favorites. We ordered take out on this occasion and once again everything was very good. Ordering on the phone is easy. They only ask for your first name and phone. We were told the order would be ready in 15 minutes. I arrived about 15 minutes later, payed my bill and my food was ready. The dining room is very much no frills and the restaurant itself is located in a very small strip mall. Parking is located in back. Be very careful on the one way drive leading to parking. There are a couple a televisions to watch while you are eating. The staff is always friendly and helpful. There is an abundance of choices on the menu. We choose the MiBompoong, Pad Thai and Asian Basil Fried rice. The fried rice was a perfect spice level for me at medium. It added flavor without too much heat. The MiBompoong is loaded with vegetables and covered in a delicious sauce. The Pad Thai was very good as well."
"Didn't think I would have such great Vietnamese in the middle of Poland, Ohio!Spring rolls and crab rangoons were good, the Pho was really delicious with really great broth. The beef specifically in the vermicelli noodle bowl was outstanding, very well marinated.Prices are super reasonable and service was very friends and fast. I'm excited to come back next time I'm in the area!"
"Pho Lee's is one of the solid Vietnamese restaurants in Cleveland! Disclaimer: I have only tried this as take out.I like that the menu is simple but has the essentials that you would be looking for at a Vietnamese pho restaurant. I ordered the spring rolls and pho dac biet. The food comes nicely packaged and still fresh and warm. I like that they separate the soup and noodles/meats. The determining factor of a good bowl of pho is really the flavor of the broth and Pho Lee's has nailed it! It is super flavorful and fragrant. I also appreciate the hoisin sauce and sirarcha sauce they include on the side!As for the appetizers, they have egg rolls and spring rolls to choose from. The shrimp and pork spring rolls is nicely wrapped! I like the added crunchiness and texture that the fried crispy egg wrapper adds. The best part is the dipping sauce, which is super nutty and sweet and savory!Pro tip: get yourself a big noodle bowl so you can put your delicious bowl of pho together and eat it in the comforts of your home!"
"With the weather getting warmer I figured I would ride the motorcycle to work; after finishing for the day I rode from Downtown Cleveland along the lake all the way to Mentor Headlands. On the way back I was trying to figure out what to have for dinner, I had a hankering for something Asian and then I remembered that I wanted to try Sugar Bowl. Located in a small storefront at Ridge Road and SOM Center Road in Willoughby it is easy to miss, but well worth your time to find.Inside is a mainly takeout shop with 2 small tables and a window counter. The menu is compact, some appetizers, a number of Pho and other soups and some other Asian items. I picked the Shrimp Noodle Soup, simple and a great way to try how their food. Ordered and paid at the counter.I had just barely settled in when the food was ready for me. A large bowl of rice noodles, shrimp and broth with a bag on the side with bean sprouts, Asian Basil, jalapeno slices and a lime wedge. The meal was excellent; a heaping helping of tender rice noodles provided body, good sized perfectly cooked shrimp were the main course and the heavenly broth brought it all together. With the side of vegetables, sirancha sauce and hoison sauce you can modify the dish to your personal taste. The highlight of the meal was the broth, light and delicately balanced it just kept getting better.Sugar Bowl was excellent food, they were doing a lot of takeout while I was there. I will be back to try some other items on the menu."
"I'm not an expert on Vietnamese cuisine, but this place is a gem where you'd least expect it. It's a casual atmosphere with takeout or dine-in.The Baguette Sandwich is basically Bahn Mi - great flavor! My favorite entree is the Stir Fried Rice with Beef. The name sounds bland but the taste is anything but - it has some serious umami."
"The lady at the counter was a rockstar running the show. She was playing hostess, cashier, waitress for everyone that came in the restaurant. Upon entering you can sit down to eat inside or get your food to go. I decided to sit down. The lady brought over water before even asking. They also have a great menu with pictures to help you decide what you want. I tried one of the noodle bowls. It wasn't really what I expected. The noodles were good but I thought it would have more flavor since the chicken was bland. I tried the chicken broth so it might be better to try the beef. They do have other items. It was a fun experience and worth a try."
"Located inside Great Lakes Mall's food court, this place is the real deal!! If you're looking for great authentic Pho' this is your best bet in the area. Also this is one of the only locations on this town you will find it. As of writing this review they are only 2 months old and I had to add their locations so they can show up, I wouldn't be surprised if they will be super busy and open up their own standalone restaurant soon. There is basically no other competition in the area and it's a great convenient spot. I got my chicken Pho' to go and it was amazing! Also got the egg rolls which I didn't think would be anything special but I was very surprised with the flavor! Give this place a try and you'll be happy you did!"
"Good place. Tasty. Reasonable prices. Good service. Typical Asian corner restaurant. Will become a regular."
"Stopped on a whim, and very glad I did! This suburban lil restaurant is very clean, great staff and the meal was excellent.Flavorful hot and sour soup, a nice flavored chicken curry, with very fresh vegetables, chicken and a yummy light curry sauce.Nice fried rice!A gem hidden away in suburbia."
"Its banh mi heaven! Worth the wait for authentic tasty fresh made sammies! Havent even tried anything else."
"What a place. Everything is made to perfection. The freshness and spice levels were correct."
"Clean, quiet, and great food! Our server was very friendly and made sure we were taken care of during our dinner. My first time getting the vermicelli bowl at any Vietnamese place and it was delicious! It wasn't too heavy and it was full of flavor!"
"We had the Pho and the smoked salmon on toast. Both excellent. The Pho is not traditional. No beans sprouts nor basil, however bok choy and enoki mushrooms were a nice twist. As for the smoked salmon, not cream cheese but humus. Again a delicious twist. The coffee is excellent also. Looking forward to going again."
